I was wondering if the reason for building an auditorium in the PAC LA Org parking lot is to make it smaller since so few are attending the Shrine nowadays? So in a smaller facility, the few people look like many because of “standing room only…” And who cares if the parking area is taken over if there are no cars that want to park there anyway? Time was in the early 80’s and before, when you had to come to course early to even get parking because it was so crowded. Now it is a morgue. Now where have I heard that expression before?

But you can still use Fair Game on an SP, which I believe Mike was indeed declared, thus the policy was in use. What kind of religious person says that it’s ok to declare all out war on someone who doesn’t believe in their religion anymore or worse still leaves? Hubbard created the policy to instill more fear in potential disafectors and critics, thus preventing disaffection and criticism of the church, ultimately ensuring that Scientology would outlive its naysayers… and LRH lives on.

You have to ask yourself, what kind of man comes up with such policies as disconnection and fair game in the first place? It’s reminiscent of tactics that would be used in a totalitarian state.

Elle, LRH cancelled the policy of disconnection long before Miscavige ever seized control of the church, and pardon me, but his expressed ideals never included ripping families apart.

That was actually my first thought upon reading this article. What’s the point of letting all that valuable square footage sit idle, when you can build a temple devoted to glorifying His DiMness and round-the-clock regging?
