To my way of thinking, LRH was utterly brilliant and contributed a huge amount of workable tech and wisdom. Nevertheless, the way I currently see it, after considering other teachings by now as well, is that he apparently omitted the most vital principle of all – in spite of the fact that he knew about it and wrote about it in the early books.

I’m referring to the “us-them” mentality that he in later years promoted and exemplified. I think that is what is at the root of what you wrote here:

“Management structure and individual motivations within it have a life span.”

Very well expressed. Because sooner or later the attitude of us vs. them – which has few exceptions among people in general – means a dwindling spiral and inevitable failure.

Just my 2 cents worth too, along with wanting to give you an ack. Your play on that line from the movie *A Few Good Men* was spot on. I had to watch that scene again – powerful!

LRH policy is used by myself .. so on, it is worth to know about. No question. But you have to pick up the right one at the right time .. it belongs to you to get that done .. there is no rule which policy you should use at certain moments .. you have simply to know which one fits current affairs ..

If you were now 2000 B.C. you would find that a lot of policy was already existend. Policy from LRH are basically an observation about what should be done or not done .. how you can succeed ..

Lets take the policies about conditions. Nothing powerful in it. It is an evrybody knows it procedere which is here claimed. I mean, if somebody falls down to liability .. he is a liability .. it says only that somebody did misdirect some parts of his life .. but LRH asked not for the why. I mean it goes really complicated here ..

Okay, if one falls down in liability, he is a problem for the group. He is a liability for progress. But how he can fall from there in doubt or enemy or treason .. LRH has never described it in word or text .. but he says in policy it would be there this way .. but how one goes from liability to confusion .. basically it is an easy step .. you must only be blamed for being a liability .. that is all .. you are on your way down not enemy or treason for a second .. what it means finally .. doubt is higher than liability .. LRH says himself: If in doubt communicate .. and that is right .. and it is above liability ..

At the end of my comment (maybe not released) .. LRH wrote some policies which are not right ..
