Regarding Tom’s ‘couch jumping’.
Personally I never saw the big deal. In some respects it very well can be taken as an actor ‘acting’ a part of truly being in love. [not to say he was not.] However, as a star, it could have been perceived that the ‘ladies’ would ‘eat up’ the ‘crazy excitement’ he displayed.

Problem is, it backfired… as the news went out about him ‘acting crazy’…
in the show, it seemed to have had the affect intended, but in the age of the internet, and a certain kind of ‘kill-joy’ attitude, it was twisted around.

A note, in general, about disconnect – not being a Scientoloigst, I cannot speak for those who actually have experienced it first hand – however, in theory, the idea of getting away from certain ‘egos’ and ‘pain bodies’ is not that bad of an idea. [My philosophy leans toward that of Eckhart’s teachings] On the surface, while it may seem rash… humans tend to be like the stock market until they ‘wake up’ – people and their ‘pain-bodies’ are quite predictable to a large degree.

And the easiest way to view this is the drunk who promises not to do whatever negative action he did the last time… just to keep the cycle going.

This is not limited to alcohol, this is in the heart of very many people’s relationships.

On the surface, from the videos I have seen of scientology, it is impressive.
Though having been deep in the Protestant faith, I am all too familiar with how corruption can lurk within a group – and even more, how some involved can easily be playing those at bottom… and those underneath will never question those at top as they would not fathom that a ‘lie’ would dominate the very org they are apart of.

Thanks for the listen… nothing new, as all this info has been said in so many ways, and each person has experienced it to some degree in relation to their own lives, even if on the surface it appears to be different.
