“Get the Scoop”. Hubbard’s PR tech. “Mystery” as a ploy to draw people IN because, you know, they’re just curious, so darn curious, and they just have to know…says Hubbard. Possibly this works the first or the second time (it worked on me the first few times ). Some meaningless gimmick gets disclosed during the “briefing”.

Whatever the “scoop” is will mean nothing. There will be no real scoop. Just a lure, possibly about some celebrity interest in the thing, a manufactured PR ploy to get people to come to the thing, because they’re so very curious!

What all the Still Ins know but can never say out loud is that this is just another fundraiser, the purpose of which is to squeeze every last squeezable dime out of whomever is unfortunate enough to be sitting there. Anyone who has no plausible excuse to avoid the thing is a sitting duck. Back in the day when I was in, we ALL knew this. And trust me, today is no different. They – the Still Ins – ALL know this. They show up only because they can’t find some plausible excuse not to.

Well, yes, all those lies will constitute the first half of this “briefing”.

But rest assured that lots of time and energy will afterwards be spent on showing the clueless schmucks who show up for this farce how they can “help”…how they can contribute to Scientology’s real estate scam even further.

How sad this is, really. Such a waste, such a total waste, in every way.
