Do scientologists STILL pretend that they won’t get sick because they ONLY associate with other scientologists? As Davey-Boy has demonstrated time after time. most or all scientologists in the last 39 or so years are screaming DB SPs, unfit for anything useful — unless they have some way of getting MONEY. It might be SP money, but it spends just as good.

I agree their solution to any suppression is run and hide. When I walked around Big Blue a couple of months ago I tried to say hello to a couple of them and they would barely make eye contact. I think they are terrified of confronting anyone that might say anything negative about Scientology. The only one that would speak to me was the security guy on the bicycle.

Thanks Bill. Probably as you said at the very beggining was intended for a specific situation. However in my opinion hubbard became furthermore paranoic between end of 60s and begin of 70s. And this paranoia was transmitted in his writings. The current scn is a xerox of it but more extremized. DM is another story as he is a “tone 40” sociopathic.

My first job was a part time gig doing light janitorial things in two candy shops in Downtown Minneapolis. At no point was Hubbard’s method of washing windows used.

Originally LRH as I understood it had disconnection as a last resort when applying Standard Tech to the situation did not handle it. Now disconnection is about the only PTS Tech left. It is a lot less work to just disconnect or disappear. My ex just disappeared. No disconnection letter, nothing.
This “Tech” is no tech at all. It is just cowardice. It used to be that they sent staff and public to a doctor. Now they just send them to a grave. It has 100 percent success rate. But very few success stories. No complaints. Dead Men Tell No Tales.
Like DM cancelling the SHSBC and just getting straight donations for no exchange via IAS. Not what LRH said to do but it is less work.

Mary , it seems to be the MO today , tell friends and family members that if they want to talk about Scientology they will be disconnected from . No more effort to handle , excuse or justify , just straight to threats . I know it from my brothers and sister . The sister who disconnected from me basically put them on notice. Shut up or disconnection . So sad but not surprising . Her daughter is ethics officer at Flag and she takes her marching orders , disguised as caring advice , from her .

In the 1970’s the Organization Executive Course was sold to non scientologists and I think it cost over $3,000. The OEC students shared the same course room with the scn students (the two I saw were in a separate part of the room) and the scn students were told to leave the wogs alone and not pitch the scn “applied religious philosophy”.

It used to be the ‘coolest’ religion, that’s gone.
