I have never been a member of scientology, but watched Leah’s show on her leaving that horrific org. I then became aware of Mike, I began watching the journey of truth, assistance, aid, and enlightenment of Leah and Mike. I don’t personally know any of you involved in this journey of escaping that god awful scientology trap but am so happy that you had each other and are a fantastic group of people. It is my belief that you all chose this path before you were born, had to endure the pain, the suffering and eventual escape to put you in the place to bring an end to their rein of terror. You each had knowledge that combined would be bigger and stronger than scientology…. more powerful then them therefore having the power you would need to bring about their downfall. I’m so sorry that Mike Suffered another monster on humanity that also needs to end… Cancer. Mike is still with all of you, Energy doesn’t die, it is transformed. The good the rest of you continue to do for those seeking freedom from Miscavige and the others will ensure Mike’s legacy lives on… my deepest condolences to Christie, their son, and all of the rest of you. To Mike… you were an angel here for so many…. now you are an angel in your next journey!! Rest Easy and Fly High!

In reply to Aquamarine. I agree, Aqua. I guess the question is, with Mike gone, where do we go from here? Who’s going to be in charge of the blog? Will we turn it into an open forum and each of us can write and post articles? I don’t have an answer to those questions but maybe it’s something that we should think about.

I have to say that he never said or did anything to make me doubt his integrity so it really angered me the way he was treated towards the end. I hope it didn't occupy too much of his thoughts. The people whose opinion is worth anything will recognise his contribution.

Would be ideal if Christy took it over but understandably it is not easy being a single mother who has time constraints, increased duties et. plus I think she was more a talker than blogger. Miss the ex scientoliegists we have lost in the recent past like Ron Miscaviage, Doug Kramer and the great Australian- Mike Rinder. Life goes on, just serves as good reminder life is short, make the most of it. Christy if you are reading this could you please tell us how are you keeping?

My sincerest condolences go out to those who knew Mike personally and loved him. My love is sent to his family (both blood and the family he chose) who are dealing with all of the sadness his passing has left them with. But I know that the happiness and love they shared far outweighs that sadness.

The world has lost a true gentleman who stood up for what’s right and his legacy will live on through not only Christie and the boys, but also through the aftermath foundation, that I’m pleased to see has been renamed in his honour.

May his name be honoured and remembered as we all continue to speak out against the cult he survived and I pray that we can bring the evil that is Scientology to a shattering end.

You will be remembered Mike and I will be sure to make sure that I share both your story and your blog with as many people as possible so that no one else suffers at the hands of these evil creatures.
