Interesting. DM must be truly desperate. If the Ideal Orgs are being opened without the necessary fund raising being completed, then why would anyone (anyone with any sense at least) donate any more? And, of course when they are opened and people can see that the shiny new building is not doing anything, why would they continue to contribute to pay the rent, pay the utilities and maintenance to keep it open? Are we in the middle of the end?

I can't help but notice how repetitive this letter is. It says the same thing several times over, yet always contradicts (or at least obfuscates) what was said before:

"With the help of some incredible volunteers, we made a huge dent in the target and then some!" I would interpret that to mean: We are ahead of target.

"This coming Saturday the 22nd we are back at the building to finish up the rest of what needs to be handled and complete this target." I would interpret that to mean: The target is incomplete.

"but nowhere near the amount we had last Saturday. But, once again there is quite a bit to do so I can use as much help as possible." I would interpret that to mean: There is so much work to do that you should feel very obligated to show up and help. On the other hand: Don't worry, it's not really all that much.

Conclusion: This letter is extremely telling. It demonstrates that once you've been telling lies for years (such as about the progress of Valley in times of incredible expansion), it becomes impossible to utter straight talk about even a simple subject, such as cleaning out a bunch of trash.

And these are the people offering communications courses? Really?

Artificially alkaline water (kangen) only neutralizes acidity where it has direct contact, like the stomach and upper bowel. When consumed daily, the upper bowel in particular becomes overly alkaline and side effects begin to appear. Most common are erratic heart behavior, hypertension, nervousness/anxiety, urinary tract and bladder infections, and stabbing side pains.

Correct Henry. Actual inflation has been running several %/year for about 8 years now. Anyone holding their wealth in cash is a fool. A poorer fool than they were just a few years ago.

I used to bring assorted candies to work every day and put them in a bowl on my desk to share and invited anyone in the office to partake and have a few.

One day a woman in the office poked through the candies, didn't find anything she was enthused about and complained to another worker who was standing beside my desk: "she never brings any good candy". I replied: "it's better than what you brought" which shut her up quickly, because, of course, she had never brought any candy to the office to share, of any kind.

No room to complain then. So let's compare Mike Rinder's blog to... ?? Who? Is it better than yours? Has more relevant stories? Interesting articles? Time spent by Mike in maintaining the site and moderating comments? Insightful commentary? Thursday funnies we all look forward to? The sheer genius of the "Regraded Being" Comic that makes us all laugh and cry at the same time...?

Do you even have a blog? But you can always just stand beside the desk and complain.

Hi Ron, if you are looking for real stories you could always read one of the many fine books written by exes. There is also a plethora of reading material on the internet, including Tony O, along with you tube videos, and podcasts to listen to. This could help to fill in the gap on a 'slow day.'

If you're looking for new, breaking stories, well, aren't we all? It's always exciting to see new developments.

I understand the need to find out as much information as possible and wish you well with your journey.

Good evening Robert, I'm afraid that scientology will expand financially. The "smart" money went to real estate about 24 months ago. In the coming months we will see inflation again, as a result all this real estate the "squirt" has purchased will turn a profit, of which I'm certain he will take a percentage. I'm a little vague on how he intends to sell the buildings with all these ideal orgs in place but that's why he gets the big bucks.
As for fooling the public that has been SOP for many years. I was always a big supporter of the "end justifies the means", looking back I can say I was mistaken. IMO with 20/20 hindsight we should have allowed the church to go into receivership in the early 80s, vacated a worn out hospital, called the attorneys for a new name and got back in business the following day. Coulda woulda shoulda, Thanking you in advance for your kind attention, Henry
