I can relate. I never got into Scientology nor stayed in it because I thought of it as “my religion”. Just the opposite. It viewed it as a practice. Things I did.. Money was charged, and I paid. It was only towards the end when the religious angle started getting heavily emphasized, when I realized that in order to stay in I was expected to be a “churchie”, that I REALLY had to get out there and “save” people and the apoclyptic angle was being heavily and indefatigably emphasized, that my life was no longer my own and that I was becoming, if not already entirely OWNED when I said, “Whoa, I should probably leave”.

People who spout off about how we all have to do this or that NOW, IMMEDIATELY OR ELSE the world will end, or there’ll be another Dark Age or an Apocalypse or whatever the doom and death term might be are people who are, in my opinion, nuts.

And they’re out there, boy are they out there. I even know people who spouted off about the end of the world if Hillary Clinton got elected and now the world is now saved because she lost. Nut jobs. I’m sure there were and are people who believe the world is doomed because Trump was elected.

For whatever their reasons for predicting the end of the world, I avoid people like this whenever possible, so when Scientology started heavily pushing this bullshit to me it was just another wake up call.

Always wondered about that gem of Hubbard’s wisdom. After much deliberation I could only assumed you would first have to handcuff and tie the SP to a chair, then connect the electrodes with screws. Put a pistol to their forehead, another to a knee cap and ask the process command with all sort of dire threats thrown in.
Geezers, if someone with an SP personality would ever voluntarily answer those or any commands??? Another Scientology contradiction in terms.
I do seem to recall I read somewhere where you could get information out of someone, example a terrorist, by taping the electrodes to them going through the alphabet or numbers to answer simple questions answered by emeter reactions. Once again the method to get a needle reaction would be similar in procedure to the above paragraph.
