Yes, she is and my ex-wife is on board! Last time I saw her I did recognize her, but It was a sad look. She was very gifted, for music, dancing, speaking languages, piloting a plane… and she got sucked away into “clearing the planet”, “being on purpose” and other insanities. What a tragic comedy… RB illustrates perfectly the delusional world of Scientology.

Yes, I was lucky to get kicked out in 1996. I was 43 and had time to start-up a home business, buy a home (I had to sell per Chaplin crappy order), finally 11 years later left Hollywood and my husband who was still in SO waiting for me to come back on board. That’s when I lost the husband and business of all Scientology clients. Now I’ve lost 2 of 4 children. But leaving it all behind so that I could now get a good look at it has all been worth it 🙂

Well, that’s different, Omega. Its the smart-alecky “kids”, no matter their ages (i know 3 of them in their 30s and 1 in his 40s) who act out this way, trying to prove by using their first names that they’re equal or superior to their parents which is NOT the case.. Theyr’e just adult brats. Via my business I deal with a lot of young people and their parents – the young ones with stuff going for them have no problem with “Mom” or “Dad”. The other ones are people I know personally and I just want to smack them and say, “Stop it!”

Jere – Thanks for sharing your story. There you were with your hormones flowing and stuck in sea org drudgery! Maybe, hopefully, conditions have improved in the sea org and the days of rice and beans are over. Who knows. They are, after all, humans beings sucked into a mind game, as was I to a lesser extent. That’s not to say there aren’t some real criminals participating.

The old man “took off for Target II” about the time I last saw my ex-wife. After 30 years, I doubt I’d recognize her…. Hardly recognized her only a couple years after she’d moved out, not that I’d had any good reasons to want to remember her. “Acrimonious” would be a good descriptor. Served me right for getting “serious” with her too soon after being released from the SO. I wasn’t at all free from its influence and desperately wanted to get LAID, after those years of being teased: So many women down there, few to none actually available according to the rules. It was basically impossible to establish a 2D without breaking SOME arbitrary and capricious rule. that sure screwed things up for most of us(so to speak.) It wasn’t like any of us had been virgins for a very long time, and we’d been through the summer of love AND the 2D wass SUPPOSED to be important to our “ethical” considerations. HOW did any of us get through it? Our 1st dynamics sucked, 2nd D just out of reach, 3rd subsuming everything else, and vacation or libs often unattainable. Just 7 16-hour days of drudgery each week, supposedly “clearing” the planet despite all evidence to the contrary. We DIDN’T survive it, not really. Everyone was what’s now called PTSD, were we PTS? Well, YEAH
