Reading Regraded Being is like looking through a one way mirror and observing firsthand the back and forth pitter patter between a couple of severely delusional patients stuck in a lock down mental ward. Endlessly fascinating … yet at the same time disturbing — knowing how damaged these people’s lives are as a result of being trapped inside the group think of this pernicious and dangerous mind control cult.

Scieno TV is just so perfectly…Scientology! It an idea completely off the radar of the local orgs and missions, costs tons of money, it’s super duper glitzy, lots of build-up, lots of hype, lots of hope, lots of massive cheery announcements and NO RESULTS.

Reminds me of that stupid video that LRH introduced in ? 1978. I think the orgs had to cough up $7000 for the audio visual equipment. People were dragged in off the street to watch this stupid depressing video which was supposed to guarantee folks would sign up for courses or processing. LOLOLOL No results, no one that I know of signed up for anything. Do you see the pattern.

The crazy, crazy thing is this. If the COS simply made a safe space, ran a TR’s/HQS course, kept the riff-raff out, did tons of word clearing, Scientology would been
    winning.

For some odd reason, people tend to stay away from money-grubbing, totalitarian regimes.

Trying to decide whether the Scio channel is comedy or drama. It’s a good thing there isn’t isn’t a rating of the Stupid Channel… mmmm… yes there is, another Scientology breakthrough!
It does give a chilling example that “free to air” is anything but free. It’s also hard to digest that all of Scientology’s media is firmly seated in a trail of shattered dreams, wasted lives & stolen money.
Will all those set free by Scio tech please stand up… (crickets chirping).

There is! They’re call them swing clubs. And I did partake. And it was great. But, this was back when I was in my late 20s, early 30s.

One of the clubs was Plato’s Retreat West in Hollywood. It opened at 10 at night and we would exit at 6am.

This doesn’t have much to do with Scientology, except in the use of underhanded tactics to get and keep other people’s money.

James Garner sued Universal Studios for $16.5 million in 1983 and settled out of court six years later, with the usual NDA. In that suit, the phrase “creative accounting” was used by Garner and later became a catchword for Hollywood accounting practics designed to keep profits hidden from actors in order to pay them less than their contracted fees. He sued Universal again in 1998 for $2.2 million, regarding unpaid syndication royalties.

Ten years after the first suit, which he won, Garner began the first of what became eight two-hour “Rockford” made-for-TV movies, under the firm hand of Garner’s production company. In Garner’s memoir The Garner Files, he told of his new cash-up-front policy with the studios he still had to deal with:

“Beginning in 1994, we made eight Rockford movies. I tried to keep my production company as far away from Universal as possible. I told the studio people when we were negotiating that if I had to drive onto that lot every day, it would be like sticking a knife in my ribs. There were no accounting problems because it was cash and carry: they gave me the money, I gave them the film. In that order.”
James Garner. The Garner Files: A Memoir (Kindle Locations 2234-2238). Simon & Schuster. Kindle Edition.

From the record, Garner did not sue and never work again, as suggested. He was involved in movies, TV shows, TV movies, commercials and voice-over projects before, during and after his successful lawsuits. His fellow actors and others were able to wise up to the studio tactics of freezing them out of profits by “creative accounting.” Many people, other than studio bigwigs, had reason to be thankful for his lawsuits because it increased the liklihood they would actually receive the money their contracts promised them.

FWIW, my favorite Garner movie was Victor Victoria, with Julie Andrews at the peak of her beauty and charm, and fave series Rockford Files, which re-used scripts from the original Maverick.

The ‘Dude who Hides’ ain’t no Dude at all. He’s just a fluorescence shadow cast against a concrete wall. No amount of money is worth that, but the leaders of Scioland sure think it is. The freedom to grab a burger, catch a flick or walk on the beach with a loved one or alone taking in nature – simple but worth more than money can buy if you don’t have it available.
That’s one of the problems with crime, it sends you security crazy. People crave revenge.

In 2013 or 2014 when I was still in the SO at Big Blue in LA, a major typhoon hit the Philippine’s, causing death and destruction. I had a pocket AM/FM radio and would listen to the news at the end of each night and the Typhoon was the top news story for 3 days and was still covered after that. The SO restrictions regarding TV, movies and Internet didn’t include radio so I used that to keep up to date on politics, world affairs, etc. About 3 weeks later, there was a big IAS meeting at AOLA where I was posted, for all Big Blue regges, FSM I/C’s and so forth. Josh Garfield, the FSM I/C AOLA came to me afterwards to brief me on the meeting, saying ” The VM’s are going to be doing a huge disaster relief cycle”. I said, Oh, the Philippine’s, right”. Josh immediately blew up in anger, saying “How could you know that? How could you know that? This data was just released by the IAS!!!” I told Josh to get a grip, it was a natural disaster that occurred 3 weeks ago, all the news networks covered it then. He stomped off in the other direction saying I had “crashed the IAS meeting” to get the data. This was when I realized that C of S and IAS control what Scientologists hear about things in the world.

Not to mention the fact that the IAS took three weeks to proclaim this as a VM project to support – which clearly shows that all IAS cared about is sucking the bucks out of the faithful’s wallets, not about providing any relief in the Phillipines. If they cared about the Phillipines they would have acted immediately.

If you want a foolproof mind apply this foolproof Hubbard doctrine and you are well on your way to a stupefied mind. After a while you will have full conceptual understanding of any drivel Hubbard pulls out of his ass and be able to smugly attack others for their lack of “understanding” because of supposedly going by a misunderstood word. That will be the extent of your brilliance.

That’s the problem. They NEVER “Confront” it. They only run and hide from it, burying their heads in the sand. Change the channel, stop reading negative articles, run away silently when confronted on the street…..where’s the “confront” in that?

They sure as hell don’t do a very good job of “shattering” the entheta either. They seem to be stuck in a perpetual state of multiplying (exponentially) the “entheta” due to their own policies and actions. Talk about “pulling it in”…..
