Being the person everyone comes to for solutions really sucks actually. You get to the point of being incredibly careful about who you make friends with because so many people have tried to get you to solve their lives for them.

As for being in a position where you’re never challenged, that’s a pretty terrible goal. Easy to see how someone like that would be drawn to an authoritarian system.

What’s wrong with Kevin? What’s wrong is he’s being robbed of being a young man who shouldn’t ever know what the heck Out-gradient, or cal-mag mean or what an OT is unless OT means his high-school team is tied with the opposing team and they have to play overtime. And after the game going to the dance and check out the girls. That’s what’s wrong with Kevin.
