Peter : The closer to PT ones only says you check for read before running any flow of anything. The exception to this are the Power Processes , where you don’t need a read to run them, you just do it ignoring reads and F/Ns. But everything else (processes as such) is based on reads according to “Standard Tech”. There are no other exceptions to this per LRH, not that it is true at all.

FG : “I think the truth is optionnal. You see the indicat or of the PC and if meter is alive on the subject. I don’t think it’ s a good idea to audit a non interest, non reading anything. Yo u go into a wall of mass. We still have to really understand this in piloting it. There must be a basic truth underlying it, but not a robotic read/no read.”

Peter : Yes, I agree ; there must be a basic truth behind it. But my point was that many things than doesn’t read produce TA action , and thus brings about wins and gains. In the ’51-’57 era it was enough to run a process as long as it produced change. If it didn’t produce any change, then one would just drop it, plain and simple. Checking interest is not necessarily workable, as desinterest might just be an indicator on non-confront on the area , which would mean that the PC would benefit from running it as his KRC level on the area being addressed will increase by his continual inspection of such a subject through repetitive commands. It is all a matter of correct evaluation of the case on the different scales. That’s why I have mentioned before that not everybody can become an auditor and C/S.

FG: “Regarding later than 1980, it’s true that from 1982 I didn’t like what LRH wrote. Before almost never. For me the last true LRH bulletin is from 1980 Nature of a being. FPRD is weird. It had nothing to do with the research line which was Not’s. FPRD was there to audit “false purpose”. What is t hat? It doesnt align with the tech on purpose. If not Hubbard who developped it? Only Mayo could have. Mithoff was not sm art enough. Or what?”

Peter : I got it. For me Mayo was smarter than LRH in many regards. Ray ? He is just a robot.

Mike just asserted that the FPRD is indeed LRH’s , and I have no reason to doubt his word. Besides , there is nothing “non-LRH” about it. “False Purposes” refers to the “evil” or “unwanted” intentions that prompts one to commit overts in a certain area. It perfectly aligns with the Expanded DNs data on psychosis , and how an evil intention is the root of it. It also aligns with the Ls , specially L-10 , even though that L-10’s approach to it is quite different as it uses L&N Qs to locate the evil purps. But the Ls and Exp DNs were all developed during the same research period at the apollo ; a research into insanity/psychosis. That research was allegedly “lost” , and the methods of handling evil purps were “forgotten”. LRH then “resurrected” it all , allegedly.

But the FPRD is based on basic DNs data , and it seems as a logical adaptation of DNs to the subject of evil purps. O/Ws prompted by an evil purp underlying them ; a prior confusion before that evil purp (the evil purp is the “stable datum” adopted to handle the confusion) ; and the first moment of the first confusion to “blow” that evil purp. I don’t see how that doesn’t align with LRH’s views ; it PERFECTLY match. Besides , it even sounds sensible to me.

I can’t honestly brush off all the testimonials of the great changes in fixed non-survival behaviors that this RD have brought about in others. To be honest , I never got it , but many friends did , and the changes were very evident. Using it for “Justice” purposes, however, degenerates into dramatizations of evil purposes from the ones administering it. The FPRD should only be relegated to a minister tool in priest-penitent willing confessions , w/out the use of the standard FPRD forms as to me, many of those Qs are an imposition of a moral code. It just doesn’t work that way. The list of possible O/Ws should come directly from the PC, as only that list would match his reality level that translates into real changes in viewpoint.

I prefer L-10 style of handling evil purps where an evil purp is located through a L&N question, then another L&N done to locate who/what would have such an intention, then running O/Ws on the terminal thus found. It has worked fine for me. Solo(ing) the FPRD is a bitch ; I totally bog on it. May be I have unhandled “druggie BTs” . :-)))

There is just too many HCOBs from the ’80-’84 period to dismiss them as non-LRH. We have things like a few key C/S series like “Mixing RDs and Repairs” , R&W HCOB, Rehab Tech , The Scn DRD , The New Grade Chart switch , more data on PTSness , “Full Assists Checklist” , etc, etc, etc. Thinking that some are LRH’s and some not, and from the same time period , is just too out-pointy. That “Conspiracy Theory” is not supported by verifiable data , but on the contrary, everything points out that all is, in fact, LRH’s. One might not like the changes , but that is an entirely different issue , isn’t it ?
