Those waiting and not doing anything to contribute to “herd immunity” have dropped out of the “herd”, so don’t deserve the benefits that herd membership conveys. My wife and I were declared fully vaccinated a month ago, have our cards and all. Yet I wore a mask to my doctor’s visit a couple of days ago. That’s an excess of caution in my mind, but it keeps the medicos happier.

It’s common in education for people with PhDs and EdDs to use that title, though I get that the general public may not understand that, and so it can come off the wrong way. But at least she earned a real doctorate.
