They’ll work themselves half to death again, only to have the prize snatched away at the last minute. IF they somehow achieve “planetary clearing”, the whole world will have gone mad and be under the most brutal dictatorship of all time. Miscavige would probably just eliminate the original Sea Orgers, and have them replaced with a new generation of fanatics.

Way back when, Author Services “hired” a bunch of RPFers to do some Renos.

By law, we had to be paid minimum wage, so we got 8 hours of that for each 12 hour day we worked.

Author Services was so happy with our work, the bent the rules and treated the RPF Reno’s crew to a night at the movies with popcorn and soda even!! We were over the moon.

(They deducted the movie ticket and refreshments from our minimum wage
checks)

I was at the event that premiered the Tom Cruise video .
Today’s cartoon reminds me that my niece who was in the sea org at the time (still is) told us with great excitement that we had to make sure to be there at the end of the event because something soooo exciting was going to happen . And she believed it with her whole heart .
It happened and I wanted to scream and hit something because it was obvious that we were all being treated like fools , idiots , morons who could be starstruck enough and hypnotized enough to sign the billion years contract on the spot.
Such a downgrade of what I had signed up for.
Oh well , beginning of the end for me !
