In reply to James Rosso. You mean that you never made it to the RPF.Neither did I. Although I was inside the OTVIII coursebook on Opening Day June 6 1989 I never made it to the OTLevels. My main beef with Son is not that I did not make it to the OO levels but never made it to the RPF.

I really look forward to these. It would be great if just some were selected that deal with all things cult could be put in a hand out to the sea org kids when the are out on the street handing out their happiness booklets. For sure, if they read even a few they might identify with the insanity of where they are and what they are tossing their life away to support. In reply to Jere Lull. Know what you mean. When I was on staff at CCNashville I was assigned to the book booth at a nearby mall. Didn't sell a damn book! I loudly voiced my opinion that it was a bad location. Big mistake as that mall space had been chosen by the Sea Org and, of course, they are the most ethical beings on the planet. Hence I would up on lower conditions. Never mind that I wasn't aware of the PL that forbade public nattering. Sorry but ignorance of PLs is no excuse. Maybe I should have blown at that point.

JWs have 'judicial committees' which purport to act like a trial, but the prosecution, judge and jury are 3 elders, and you have no defense counsel (or even warning (until you're invited); and even then you're not told what it's about so you can't prepare. You ARE guilty, and the only thing on trial is the amount of remorse you can convince them you feel.

Oh, right! ‘ethics’, which really means “following orders” is superior to “wog” law…. And to think *I* used to think the same. Since I was tossed out unceremoniously, I’ve discovered that US law has one MAJOR advantage: The accused has SOME chance of being found not guilty. that’s NOT so in scientology. If charges are brought, they’re guilty. OR the committee is found guilty of the same accusations and are so punished.
