Considering heir apparent Daniel Kingston has 14 wives and a known 150 children (could be more)…some now adults who escaped the confinement of the FLDS life much like those who “blew” from CO$…..are trying to better themselves.
Sadly when the authorities “moved in” on Warren Jeffs’ compound and removed the “wives” and children…well, you know how that went. The women are so brainwashed into living THAT lifestyle, much like COS….they know nothing else….they remain locked within willingly.
In addition, much like COS….when someone tries to escape the FLDS Kingston compound…well you know how that goes too….

I call it the “Scientology Jerk Circle.” Everybody goes to clam doctors, gets their taxes done by clam accountants, uses clam lawyers, buys their vitamins from clam health food shops – clam musicians form bands with other clams, get photos done by the latest “star” clam photographer… clam hairdressers… it’s all one big circle jerk.

Meanwhile, there’s better *everything* outside the jerk circle. I started using only “wogs” for personal and professional services a long time ago, and they are way better.

Barbara & LuAnn I just was sharing how that show changed for me after Leah’s $ci the Aftermath – I realized I’d seen things in it that had a different meaning to me then than they do now. Perhaps unlike most of you $ci is something I’d never considered prior to learning how innocent people have been abused, families separated among other atrocities. Thanks to Leah, Mike & Tony for enlightening me. I hate bullies $ci seems rife with such types of people. Like the title of this blog-I believe “something can be done about it” it’s just a matter of time.
Thank you Mike for sharing that about Linson. It does help knowing this while I contemplate my perspective on TWD. With further enlightenment I may begin to notice subtleties in other films and TV shows that might be trying to indoctrinate the unknowing public.

Elron and Miscavage both set out to make themselves revered as Gods. Come on intelligent members no man is perfect, no man is infallible, qno one deserves this much power and most of all no one deserves to be treated like a doormat just because they question ideas that appear self serving and in sound. He was faceless in that he had long stringy hair that hung in his face and he was hunched over. But I knew he was kind and I did not feel afraid or threatened. I was just so sad and wanted to get him to want to come out.
