Yes. It’s coming on A&E that evening at 9:00 PM Eastern. Looks like a Season 1 marathon starting at 1:00 PM Eastern.

However, it looks like there may be another 1-hour show that morning at 8:00 AM? My DVR is set to record it, and when I set it last year, I set it to only record New episodes (the Season 1 repeats aren’t set to record). Wonder what that’s about…..

I believe that too. A conversation I had recently with a long term still in, whose family is still in, wherein he/she stated that said family were “quiet Scientologists” convinced me. I happen to know, but this person doesn’t know that I know about the disconnection issue in this family, so I didn’t ask what was meant by “quiet”. I didn’t have to. They are all UTR in this family.

WAYC, please note that in its earlier guise, back in the 60s and early 70s, a KR was simply a way to correct an issue which was holding something up rather than squealing on someone. The person involved would also receive a copy of the report. It was a corrective action and was fairly mild. That obviously changed dramatically.

Dan the actual LRH tech/policy was try to HANDLE someone who was just antago (but NOT an S.P.) but MANDATORY disconnection from someone who was deemed to be or declared an SP by HCO. It wasn’t “last resort”.

Two different classifications of people and two different “handling’s”.

Of course, this would have been before the Pro TRs course with it’s VFP of “A being who can handle anyone with communication alone and whose communication can stand up faultlessly to any session or social situation on matter how rough.”

Or the PTS/SP course where one learns how to “confront” and “shatter” suppression. The two big “handles” for PTS/SP used to be “disconnection” (which was stressed should only be done as the last resort) and the other “handling” used to be changing the subject to something that was easy to talk about (“good roads, good weather”).

We were all encouraged to never disconnect from an antagonist but always be “in a handling”(doing the Scientology jiujitsu of two way communication, the “good roads, good weather”)

But, back then, an SP declare would only happen very rarely. One of local important seemed to come out only once or year or so, generally only after something that had put the whole org in shock, like a big refund. We’d hear about SP Declares more often from the ship, or from SH, and we’d assume that that’s where the “real SPs” (actual psychos) were, as they were being drawn per the law of SP-ness to attack the planet’s one and only true Big Being, LRH.

Somewhere along the line, beginning, I guess in ’82/’83, SP declares got to be pretty common, and then, no one was encouraged to talk good roads and good weather. All we were allowed to do was to run away; to disconnect from these cads.

It’s always amazed me that the PTS course gets revised from time to time, and that it costs the better part of a grand each time. And all that it teaches you is

1. Disconnect from people when they have been declared by HCO.
2. Stay away from people below 2.0, as they’ll screw you, unless you are thoroughly trained, and then you might get away with it if you can stay at 4.0 or above and drag them up by shear force of will.
3. Learn how to do a “10 Aug” handling if you get a little cold or a bump on the head.
4. Learn that a type 2 PTS needs rest and then auditing.
5. Learn that Scn does not want anything to do with Type 3’s. And that, even though we were the only people who could handle such people, that we would also be the only people who could but than would refuse to, because, essentially, we’re too busy. Or, at least, should be too busy.

And, pretty sure that those were the only things one learned on that course that were at all unique to that course, about SPs. And none of that taught anyone anything that brought about confronting or shattering.

So, the EO post has been one of the more robotic, mindless, dumb jobs for a long long time. No one can actually think on that post, as there just nothing there that makes any sense at all.
