I remain perplexed how many Scientologists are super overt and undiluted about their devotion to Donald Trump. This was experienced in my local org, as well as at Flag with career Sea Org members (2017-2020, my final three years in Scn) originating to me frequently how much they admire and value Donald Trump, and the American people for electing him.

I noticed (August 2024), Scientologist Jim Meskimen, an actor and voice-over artist in Hollywood, using his personal Twitter/X account to extol the virtues and courage of Robert Kennedy, Jr. an explicit Trump supporter for Trump's 2024 bid to return to the U.S. presidency.

I find these explicit alignments with Trump an "outpoint" for a couple of reasons: a) the man to whom Scientologists are permitted to show devotion is L. Ron Hubbard, secondarily David Miscavige; and b) In the United States, there is supposed to be a separation of church and state. I was amazed how much inside orgs, including Flag, Trump's virtues were spoken about lovingly, steadily, and loudly.

A theory I developed—anyone else considered this?—is that Scientologists believe L. Ron Hubbard is transmitting his will through Donald Trump, and Donald Trump willingly signed on for this notable and noble task. Here is how it was explained to me by a senior Church of Scientology group member: "Trump had availability and was looking for a bigger game; he was hand-picked for the job."

If you read the multitudes of individual group member posts on the Scientologists' private Facebook group, extolling intense affection, admiration, and adherence to Donald Trump, you might scratch your head (as I did): "Are they allowed to offer this much devotion and praise to a man who is not L. Ron Hubbard? What explains this unquestioning trust and devotion to Donald Trump?"

I recall a 2020 post by a Scientologist recently through OT 3 expressing her certainty that Donald Trump was using his breath to breathe away the COVID virus, confident with those simple, steady actions, there would be no more COVID anywhere.

Living in Scientology as a group member is like living inside a twist pretzel. I remain grateful everyday that I connected the dots, after three decades, to recognize I was in a cult and needed to extract myself. Grateful for this M. Rinder blog community.

Its great when Mike posts things that have been found on various social media. But is anyone responding to these things at source? For example, as Mike states - Putin has systematically attacked SCN. The photo is AI generated. Has someone pointed this out on "Flag Life"? I know, that most SCN sheeple will think it is another conspiracy/attack on SCN by the great unwashed. But maybe, just maybe it might sow a few more seeds of doubt and give the Aftermath foundation more visits.

I don't understand how any person using any common sense would support the Woke Dems over the (far, far from perfect) Republicans.
And when you call someone a Fascist (Fascism = Socialism) you've shown that you've been taken in by the propaganda. Gone for the buzzword instead of the substance. Gone to name calling instead of addressing the issues.
I suggest you watch
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qdY_IMZH2Ko

(Sorry Mike, I know you try to keep the political talk out, but I felt a response was needed.)
