asdf, if what I gather about how things work these days is correct, a lot of those staff are part-timers and even volunteers. Then they basically have two shifts, 7 days a week. I’d hazard a guess that they probably have something like 24 staff actually in the building at any given time – and quite a few of those doing busy-work administrative jobs, like managing their cumbersome administrative and filing systems.

Also, it occurs to me, if their staff stats are as gamed as some of their other numbers, it’s possible that people who work or volunteer in different areas at different times, are getting counted two or more times. The certainly might count someone who works two different shifts, as a lot of full-time staff do (at least those who have enough support from family or other sources, to not have to work an outside job to make money to live on), twice.

And for things like student statistics, they appear to be counting people who are taking multiple courses, once for each course. I think I’ve also seen them finding a way to count people on the multi-year courses in a way that makes them appear like a brand new start each year. The lying through statistics, and the warping of the meaning of those statistics, is really getting absurd.

The whole story of the Durban Ideal Parking Lot was on the late, lamented South African blog. Since the blog is still up (as far as I know), just not being updated anymore, you might be able to scrounge the whole story from there. If memory serves, Scientology paid 16 million rand for the building (double what the owners paid for it), then spent another 2 million to tear it down. It’s laid fallow ever since.

In realistic terms, working at the Tampa Org is a career killer for any staff member who hopes for a promotion. Indeed, staff who can’t cut it at Tampa Org are sent to PAC Base to be dishwashers, or worse, body routers.

While we in RTC pay lip service to the Tampa Org it actually is quite downstat and has been so for decades. COB may actually sell the place and use the money to finance the manufacture of the new Mark X e-meter, the world’s first meter that comes standardly equipped with a cattle prod.

He is being despicable. He may be going bonkers but I don’t see signs of that in his videos, I see self aggrandizement, blaming, Denigrating Mike like that? He’s throwing everyone and their uncle under the bus, but none of it’s his fault.

I worked with seriously mentally ill folks for decades, so I’m pretty up on what crazy looks and sounds like.

Marty shows no signs of being mentally incompetent or suffering from any serious mental illness in those videos. He’s not very well-rehearsed and doesn’t seem to have the cult’s talking points down very well either, but he’s definitely not displaying any of the classic signs of mental illness in any of those video segments.

However, he does display many of the body language “tells” of someone who’s lying and not very comfortable in the act of doing so. He’s constantly referring to printed notes and looking to off-cam folks to gauge their response and look for approval from them.

Calling him crazy is simple all right, but it just doesn’t comport with his observed behavior and spoken words at all.

So, what plausible explanation would account for the changes in his stated positions concerning the cult and Dear Leader since he first began to alter them, back in the Summer and Fall of 2016, and up until now?

To me it seems crystal clear: Either he’s gone back to carrying the cult’s poison water because he was paid to do so or because he was threatened/blackmailed into doing so…no other scenario seems at all plausible to me.

I agree with Andrea. The smear jobs that they try to do make them look ridiculous and pathetic. You keep up the good work Mike and do not worry about the nonsense spewed by these people. Obviously Rathbun has lost it.
