Clearly there is an effort to make themselves look “kinder and gentler” and couch the demand to disconnect as a “choice”…. But anyone who receivers such a message knows what this means. Disconnect (unfriend) or you will be reported for consorting with the enemy and your name will be on the list for unfriending next.
“Dr. Bill,” a sockpuppet KoolAid drinker of the first order, makes it known to his friends and associates that he reports to Kathy True, Donatella Kevenaar and Julian Swartz. He once proclaimed: “If you get information on anyone from me, it has come directly from OSA. I will not write and suggest that anyone disconnect unless that person is my specific target based on info from OSA.”
His latest message provides “plausible deniability” for the church. “No, this is just “individual Scientologists acting on their own” (like the Squirrelbusters) and see, they are simply informing people so they can make their own choice….”
With the shitstorm they currently have on their hands I doubt they are wanting to stir up another one with a media-worthy name. But I wonder how Placido feels about having his friends approached with veiled threats to “disconnect or else….”

Hello,
I regret to inform you that Placido Domingo, Jr. has been declared and is no longer in good standing with the Church. While he has been on the fence for a long time, he has now officially gone to the other side.
What you do with this information is entirely up to you. But, if you decide to disconnect, please go to his page and click the friend button. This will produce a drop down menu with “unfriend” at the bottom. Click this and he is no longer on your friends list. Then you can go to your mutual friends and let them know, or block him. To block him, click on the little down arrow by the gear (next to the message button) and at the bottom of that list is block/report. Click on it and follow the directions.
Do not do it in reverse order. If you block the terminal first, you will not be able to see him or him you, but his SP friends will still see that you are on his list.
I will not get into a Q&A on this. If you wish to check the factuality of the declare, contact your local DSA, OSA or Ethics terminal and they can verify it for you.

Out of all of the celebs who were ever in, going back to the ’50s, I would love to know how many have been declared. Whatever the actual number I’d wager the percentage of those celebs declared is way higher than 2 1/2%. No wonder the Church is so paranoid about open Declares. Yet, at the same time, Disconnection all the power they have, really. Good exchange via delivery of standard tech should be what makes people want to stay in, but that’s pretty much history now, so they’ve got to make people afraid to leave. Sad.
Mike, could you please clarify when the disconnection order was issued for Placido Domingo Jr? I was under the impression that this happened several years ago, and thought you are just reprinting this as an example of a public “helping” OSA to get the word out without explicit OSA fingerprints on it. Or is this disconnection order a recent thing? I looked on Bill Pollack’s Facebook page but apparently the Scientology-related posts may be visible only to specific people, so I didn’t see it.

John — this is recent. See numerous comments from Sam about Placi did not know he had been declared. I do not know an exact date. The source of this was someone that wanted their identity kept confidential so any identifying information was removed. Of course, I have no way of verifying this, but I have no reason to believe it was NOT a recent posting.

She is always very concerned about the sheeps to have no contact to “the other” side.. as a good example for the church. Or better to say, in Germany we call it “Arschkriecher”- which means “ass-kisser”.

It isn’t just that they want you to disconnect, but they demand that you cut off heads, balls, everything yourself so that they can appear to have “clean hands” and “he/she acted on their own with no input from the church.” And if you don’t do it, you will be next. I have experienced that as has everyone who has been in Scn for more than a day. “If we don’t see a headless body, you will be next.” So true. And I read about people trying to skewer Marty for beating people when he was at Int. He had the same choice that some victims of the Nazi’s had: “either you kill that person or I kill you.” Marty has more than made up the damage in my book and continues to help people get free from the cult physically as well as spiritually.
I agree that Marty has made up the damage and continues to do so. While I don’t agree with the adulation of LRH personally, the tech, when applied properly, continues to work, especially for those who truly want to make progress. As I have said elsewhere, it isn’t so much the tech itself, it’s the quality of the caring auditor and the willingness of the pc (or preOT) to actually do the work which needs to be done. Another point on this is they say they don’t “enforce” disconnection and that it is “an individual choice”. These are all pretty much mis-directors.
The issue really is ~ Does the “church” believe that disconnection is good or not?

All Parishioners know the cults stance on the subject so they have to do the “right thing” if they want to “progress”.

Ridiculous!! Of course the church makes people d/c. This isn’t in question. Every Scn’ist and Indie Scn’ist I know has stories of being told to d/c from someone and of going to Ethics if they didn’t do so, including me (on many occasions).
I was once ordered by my org’s EO to d/c from my fiance because he was A-J for not wanting to join the Sea Org.

This person helped so many humans on this planet and yet in Clearwater no one will ever acknowledge them again. I Hate Facebook’ I hate Scientology. I hate Mr. Pollock. My husband and I have been approached on FB and asked to “unfriend” various “SPs” and that immediately makes us unfriend whatever Nazi-like person had the nerve to make that request. I mentioned things like this to my family who have never been in Scientology and they said, “What happened to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights with this group?” Exactly.
I got a message to disconnect from Debbie Cook and it stated:
” I see that you are friends with Debbie Cook and she has been declared an SP. You need to disconnect from her. You can go to your local Org to read the SP Declare”.
I told the gal that I want to hear both sides of the story before I disconnect from anyone. I did not think the Church practiced this and this is the 5th person in the past year that I have been told to disconnect with. I will observe with my own evaluation whether I think anyone is an SP – so please do not ever contact me again and hung up on the beyatch!
I immediately went to my facebook page and disconnected from the gal who had contacted me – a Class Five Staffer. Then I disconnected from every Scientologist I had “friended”.
NO one is going to tell me who to associate with. I was not in long and I saw so much “outpoints” it was constant doubt about this so called “ethical group”. I do not think Debbie Cook is an SP or the four others.

If the church truly did not support disconnection, then you would think they would be responsible and teach their members about that…but they don’t. The fact that they don’t “correct” this despicable action and allow it to go on is itself an approval of what Dr. Bill is doing. I have had over the years many FB police come on to tell me to disconnect from so and so. I wish now that I had copied and pasted the “unfriend requests from the FB police” so that it could be used in a future lawsuit or something. I asked one of them, ‘have you seen the declare with your own eyes?” “No” was the answer. “Then why are you spreading unsubstantiated rumors about this person.” “Well just call your MAA and they can verify.” “Well LRH says if it isn’t written it isn’t true.” “But they don’t post SP Declares anymore…just call…” So what you get is an MAA or OSa terminal verbally telling you so and so is bad and declared etc. If they don’t put it in writing, there is less chance of the church being sued. But the effect created is the same: witch hunts that LRH warned against. People maligned all on one person’s (the MAA’s) statement. It just sickens me. It reminds me of Nazi Germany when Jews would turn in their friends to the SS police in order to save their own necks.
