Hello Mike,
they used the same excerpt some years ago already. Curious as I am I got the whole reference so I could see the excerpt in context. Somehow I am glad they used it, as it helped me to open my eyes.
It’s common to religious groups since ever, to use chunks of quotes out of context in order to control people.
And I never wanted to be part of a group which uses such fragments for such purposes.
It’s common practise in the Church of Scientology nowadays. Faced with a EO in front of you, he shows you references, let’s you look at selected paragraphs only and if you ask for the whole reference, they say you only need the selected paragraph.

A true Clear may not get keyed in but he can still have present time problems. Life is full of randomity which is why conditions formulas are so useful and necessary if applied on a self determined basis at all levels of the Bridge. Losing one’s job, spouse, heath care – one wouldn’t need to be keyed in to the bank for these to be concerning..

Martin, I have to respectfully disagree, as I don’t consider the new Ideal Orgs to be aesthetic traps, particularly. They can’t compare to the architecture of other religions. The RCS calls the Super Power building a “cathedral”. To me it resembles a big box store. Of course, I haven’t been inside, lol.

You wanna see cathedrals, go to Notre Dame, go to Westminster Abbey, The Sistine Chapel or St Pats in NYC – these are magnificent structures and serious aesthetic traps, IMO to which the RCS couldn’t even hold a candle, if you’ll pardon the pun. So incredibly beautiful, awe-inspiring. I could sit and listen to anything if/when surrounded by such beauty.

This is a generalization but I believe that the majority of those still “in” at this point, whether they are ordinary public, celebs, Class V org staff or Sea Org, are in the Fear tone level – chronic fear, and are PTS Type I to the RCS,. They doubt other’s reality, they doubt their own reality. They can’t spot their SP and they think its Big Pharma and the Shrinks. Now, certainly the people who make drugs and create “disorders” , who work topush drugs for the handling of ORDINARY human functions like eating, digesting food, sleeping, having sex, talking to others, being social, etc – basic human functions, are certainly, to my mind, SPs, except that with RCSers these are not THEIR SPs – wrong target. So, boy are they confused, and very PTS, and they can’t see it, can’t as-is it, which throws them downtone to Fear, and keeps them there. I pick up that they are very, very wary, very very careful, whilst at the same time making a strenuous effort to be uptone. I’m pegging it at chronic fear. My 2 cents.

(Oh, and also, I’m not at all saying that all drugs are bad. btw., far from it. What I’m referring to which IMO qualifies Big Pharma as SPs is the “mindset” that we ALL need some kind of permanent drug in order to eat, sleep, , have sex,; talk to people – activities that Man has been doing pretty well without the help of drugs for many thousands of years.)

Ronnie Bell: regarding the old OT levels…my own reseach confirms exactly what you said.

If you go on the net and actually look a what processes the old OT levels are, you will find out that they are many of the “one-shot-clear” processes LRH was working on in the 1950’s. The fact that these processes worked so amazingly on some pc’s and didnt work on others, is what prompted much of LRH’s research into the grades and eventually OTIII.

So, yes, the current OT line up in the church thru New OT7, is really improved OTIII. I think anyone done these levels should consider doing the “old” OT levels as these are what Ron thought OT was about.
