Have the Nation of Islam taken over the Church of Scientology Inglewood?
What is in this for the NOI? How can buying a building in the Valley for a Church of Scientology possibly help forward their agenda?
Have the NOI and Church of Scientology merged into one organization?
Understand that Tony Muhammad is the head of the Western Region of the Nation of Islam. This would be like Heber Jentzsch being the features speaker at the Los Angeles Mormon Temple fundraiser to raise money to build a new Mormon Temple in the Valley. Why would he do that instead of speak at the Scientology church to raise money for another Scientology church….
Just too many outpoints.

I’m fascinated by the NOI involvement and how this works at ground level too. I’m curious as to who actually pays for their services and materials – the individuals or the organization? And are there special dispensations on the services and materials they pay for?
The leadership’s apparent anti-semetic stance aside, per some of the above comments the individual members themselves sound like decent enough people and therefore good potential staff material no doubt (particularly with over 1000 trained up as auditors – God knows the orgs need these!). So I’m even more curious as to how individual NOI members are viewed or handled with regards to staff recruitment. Or even as SO prospects. Are they off-limts? And if so, per what reference? What are recruiters told? I did a PPO full hat and don’t recall seeing any references that would cover such a scenario. In fact I recall several that mentioned not allowing arbitraries and opinions to cut across recruitment lines (including the roof falling in).. So given that, how would or does it work with NOI staff or SO recruits? How are they assimilated into the staff system and how do they process FOs and/or green on white alongside their own NOI doctrines? How does this affect their chain of command? For example, how would the drilling of ‘hard sell’ go down in all it’s guises and with all it’s references and definitions, I wonder?
Whichever way this goes, it doesn’t bode as well as it may seem to be on the front line surface. Looks like it’ll get messy to me.
shocked and awed says
The NOI is the only group or impetus behind anyone getting involved with the church these days. There will be more and more “bonding” and integration. There is a vacuum and the NOI is going to fill it. Watch out Davey. Your clock is running down. As far as the 10th floor, that Clearwater sky is beautiful and the clouds and lightning could easily inspire awe, admiration, imagination. As far as UFO’s, I knew many an old SO member who said they always saw UFO’s when on the SO ships. Why not from the 10th floor as well. I am happy for the sisters. But the story here is the NOI increasing its stake.
one of those who see says
Headline from yesterday from The Blaze
“Farrakhan Talks of ‘Satanic Jews’ and ‘Synagogue of Satan’ at Detroit Church Speech — but Wait Until You Hear Who Was in Attendance”
The Anti-Defamation League is criticizing Louis Farrakhan for delivering blatantly anti-Semitic statements, using terms such as “Satanic Jews” and the “Synagogue of Satan,” during a speech at a Detroit church last week. The Jewish group is also asking why public figures who attended the Nation of Islam leader’s event have remained silent.
According to the ADL and the Detroit Free Press, those present at the May 17th Fellowship Chapel event included the church’s leader, Rev. Wendell Anthony, who also serves as President of the Detroit branch of the NAACP, Rep. John Conyers (D-Michigan) and Detroit City Councilwoman JoAnn Watson. According to the Detroit Free Press, “Conyers and Watson nodded in agreement during some of Farrakhan’s remarks”; however, the paper did not specify during which parts of the speech they nodded.
The ADL provided the following details about the speech, which included classic anti-Semitic characterizations of Jews’ allegedly being engaged in conspiratorial efforts at world domination (typical of many Farrakhan speeches):
Farrakhan referred to “Satanic Jews” and the “Synagogue of Satan” controlling America’s government and other sectors, reportedly stating that President Barack Obama “surrounded himself with Satan…members of the Jewish community.”
Farrakhan also said that the Jewish people “have mastered the civilization now, but they’ve mastered it in evil… Who’s the owner of Hollywood that creates images and makes the people think that what is created on the screen is the way we should live? That’s Satan…Satan has devoured much of humanity.”
“The people that own Hollywood,” Farrakhan added, are “the same people that control your press, the same people that control your media, the same people who are the publishers the same people who are the distributors, the same Synagogue of Satan, and they put you before the world in this disgraceful matter.”
I am fine on anyone availing themselves of the tech of Dianetics and Scientology. But with all the Church’s attention on PR, this is the group they align with!!!! But I must remember the Reactive Mind does not make sense.
In my opinion, the DM could care less about Louis Farrakhan’s frequent and very public anti-Semitic rants. In my opinion, the Dwarf can relate to the demonizing of Jews because he sees it as a rallying strategy, just the way he uses psychiatry and Big Pharma to whip up the passions and press the buttons of his whales and kool aid drinkers. See, this is all theatre. Its all very calculating and cynical. Farrakhan doesn’t hate the Jews at all. He’s not stupid. He knows that Jewish Americans are the most liberal and tolerant group in the US. Jewish judges, lawyers, public defenders, ACLU members, etc. Hollywood itself is extremely liberal politically. For the NOI, the Jews are just being used in a negative PR sense to keep them in agreement. There has to be someone to hate, to blame And, better than anyone, the Dwarf understands the effectiveness of this strategem, and I’ll bet he admires Farrakhan for how he wields on his NOI flock. I’ll bet the two of them chuckle about it together. I’ll bet Farrakhan chuckles about how the RCS calls Flag its “Mecca” while at the same time displaying a very Christian-looking cross because it is also a “church” See? Its all PR, strictly for show. “The Satanic Jews” , the “Evils of Psychiatry” – its BS, and very low toned of course, but then…
And I’ll add that, Farrakhan, being no dummy, picks his scapegoats very well,, because as a group the Jews are the most amazingly tolerant people, non-violent people, who, it would appear, mostly shrug and practice stoicism when it comes to his tirades. Their people, after all, did survive the Holocaust, and IMO they’re thinking, “Sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never harm me”. So they let him yap. Well does Farrakhan know who he can bash and get away with it. You don’t hear him ever bashing the Italian community, or, God forbid, the Irish, LOL. No way he’d have the nerve to take on these groups, prejudice or no prejudice. They’d never stand for being publicly vilified. But the WASPS and the Jews, they mostly ignore, and go about their business.
Thanks for posting that One of those. That (plus more) is what I have heard about this guy
Chris Mann says
Are the NOI people cool? Church members and events/fundraisers have become quite dull and devoid of real emotion and life and free thought. Are the NOI people more alive than that? I know some of them speak freely in opposition to using Dianetics/Scientology, so they are obviously not as bad off as a Scientology Church member in that they can speak and think freely.
Maybe this is an upgrade. It probably feels really “Theta”. Your Ideal Org is quiet and monotone and then one day while you are sweeping away cobwebs some NOI people come in the door and are actually talking with some life in their voice and singing or something. It would probably feel good and you would want more of it.
Tom Gallagher (the real one) says
Hey Mike, Somebody took my name and wrote the above comment. I frankly find the comment offensive. Just setting the record straight.
Mike Rinder says
Hmm — wondered about that Tom. Have deleted it…. If someone wants to put it back up they can use another name.
I like Farrakhan. I’ve met him and he really is a good guy. There’s an immediate rise in tone in discovering Scientology. But God help the NOI and it’s people if they buy into the debt up to the eyeballs, IAS no-exchange mentality.
Is it possible that DM has decided the cleanest exit for him is to “sell the business” to NOI. Does NOI have the financial resources to pull it off?
I think that it is great whenever a n y o n e studies and applies Dianetics and Scientology. I think that it is great. And like Karen says, beliefs are beliefs….things assumed to be true.
I think that the application of Dianetics and Scientology helps to sort the wheat from the chaff. And the truth persists. People will naturally sort out their beliefs and find out what they, themselves, really believe.
As for the Nation of Islam goes, I have known a few members casually and they seem to be OK people. Their group has a bit of a “circle the wagons” mentality, but they don’t seem to bad intentioned at all. They were OK people and they liked it when I admired the bakery goods they were selling. They are have just tended to be very insular and attention is fixated on helping black people only. One thing I have observed about them is that they also have a “don’t tread on me” attitude which includes “don’t patronize me”. Unless they have changed, members of the Nation of Islam don’t take shit.
David Miscavige take note.
I agree. NOI members I have met were decent, well-intentioned people. They are not the problem with this RCS-NOI “merger”, but they soon will be the victims. RCS likes nothing more than a caring, generous soul (especially one that has not been regged). Like lambs to the slaughter, naive NOI members will soon be in the clutches of RCS. God help them.
In the past I’ve viewed DM and RCS as “our problem”, something that we would deal with internally. With the introduction of NOI, this is no longer the case. Radical Miscavology is like a cancer that has just found a new host.
Trying to “rationalize” the outpoint, one could think the Church is just running out of too many parishioners and DM has to gather crowds from somewhere to fill in the vaccum…as I said, is just a try in rationalizing another hughe outpoint.
Could also be a show of support for the church’s “Ideal Org” real estate strategy to continue shoving LRH policies into the background as well as the Indie voices of attention drawn to it. After all, if NOI also blesses fundraising, then it must a valid norm as a course of action. All just PR soup.
Miscavige & Muhammed, LLC. And let the crush regging begin! NOIs, you are in for a treat!
Say so long to ever again feeling ignored. You’re going to be called 10 times a day by 3 different people who will stress how important you are, and how vital it is for you to attend the next fundraising event!
Ever wonder how you’re going to pay your bills, make ends meet, give the kids what they need, etc. etc?
Well, no more worries on THAT score, because you will be encouraged to NOT pay those boring bills and just hand over all your money to help pay for your Ideal Org – AND you’ll be given placques, pins, commendations and tee shirts for this irresponsiblity!!
That’s just the beginning though as there are other treats in store for you, like mind control, eliminating from your lives any boring hobbies which might interfere with your event attendance, and disconnecting from any friends or family who don’t approve of your new life choices, but hey, these are a bit out-gradient for you right now so lets just start with the baxics…check, cash or credit card?
I don’t really know what to make of this specifically.
In my opinion, the whole “church” is simply 100% outpoint…this is just another one in the whole scheme of things.
NOTHING in the church is real Scientology tech or policy anymore. And I know that sounds like a generality, but, I am hard-pressed to find something that is even remotely genuine standard tech and policy…truly, I am.
Good observation, Bella. The group is transmutating into stranger and stranger forms with more incomprehensible purposes and unpredictable actions. Our traditional think in trying to figure out what’s going on in the RCS seems to less and less able to come up with some logical explanations as they are increasingly wacky in their actions. They really are leaving Earth’s orbit.
At this time we need a LOT more data before we can begin to understand what’s really going on, IMHO.
Maybe like any IAS birddog, he/they get a cut of the money raised.
Who knows …
It’s either about money or PR or both. I don’t see any Scientology Tech, ie. courses or processing being promoted.
Perhaps NOI people continue to get special treatment in return for Tony helping fundraise for Idle Orgs?
Stunned, I googled and in Wikipedia, 4th paragraph, it said:
“Since 2010, under Minister Farrakhan, members have been strongly encouraged to study Dianetics, and the Nation currently claims it has trained 1055 Auditors.”
Source of that info: http://www.finalcall.com/artman/publish/National_News_2/article_9651.shtml
Stranger and stranger. My mind doesn’t know which tangent of craziness to follow on this. O.O
Wow! Miscavige may be doing the NOI RPF soon.
This has a whiff of “takeover” by these guys.

There is an aspect of NOI which believes in a “Mother Ship” or “Mother Plane”
I do not and will not make fun of anyone who believes in UFOs
Anyone can believe whatever they wish,
But I spent many a time at the Fort Harrison in Clearwater (Flag Service Org)and on the 10th Floor and on this balcony facing Clearwater Beach and this post in this newspaper boggled my mind.
(Black Muslim Students at FSO ~~ 10th floor balcony)
As we looked up to the sky, there was a soft gathering of grayish black clouds. Sister Callie Muhammad noticed a small light coming from behind one of the faint cloud formations. From that moment on, the drama of the sighting began. All five of our sisters in attendance, including the public relations director and later joined by Fu Mei, were all drawn to this spectacular light that increased in size in the dark background of the night sky. A variety of color hues began to appear around the object, which were clearly visible to all of us. The shape of a dome emerged on the top with an angular slant on both sides. At a certain point, we recognized a rotating center ring or hub of bright oscillating lights. The color sequencing that we observed went from amber to reddish tints, to soft greens and blues.
When Fu Mei entered and noticed the large object, she recalled receiving a text message on her phone several weeks earlier from Reverend Al Freddie when he was in Atlanta and was describing to her a similar type object that he observed there glowing in the night sky. Our public relations host said that she had heard about these kinds of sightings, generally referred to as UFOs, but had not actually witnessed one before until then…….
We finally returned to our rooms highly electrified by this experience that was witnessed by so many participants there at the Fort Harrison Hotel. After we each received the technique of Nerve Assist developed by L. Ron Hubbard, we returned to the Book of our early evening studies on how UFOs communicate with us: It Is Information About How The Connections By UFOs Are Made.
There’s a response to this that could be made without sounding rude to either the teller of the original story or the person postiing this. I just don’t know what it is….. Wow.
Chris Mann says
Thats the kind of thing I just ack and move on. I give it my best, non-evaluative, appropriate ack. “WOW!, THATS AMAZING”, or something. If it’s from someone I trust and trust I will be more interested. If I see it myself I will have more data to evaluate. If they land, invite me in the ship and introduce themselves I will believe.
I will say I have had very real recall in and out of session regarding “UFOs” and “Aliens” and do believe they exist.
I’m not convinced either way, but I must consider the possibility that Farrakhan uses the UFO stories to give himself power and control over members and that these members saw something and made it fit what they were told. If you are told that bright lights in the sky are god and then see a falling star you will see god.
Just a viewpoint comment on your comment. It’s possible to convince people of some very weird stuff, even get them to imagine they see stuff that is not there. Hollywood makes a living at it, for example, but they tell you they’re going to fake you out, in advance, as do magicians. Apparently, for some reason, we love that creative story-telling. Cults and drugs however, are generally deceptive and destructive – they don’t tell you they’re going to fake you out. Lesser or weaker or more abberated beings get the idea that because others can be USED, it is “smart” to step on them. It is really small to do that, and ends up badly. Minor scale commercialists / industrialists perhaps understand best that you have to have a product, have to do good, have to be USEFUL – it’s not a pie in the sky esoteric philosophical option – you have to or you go out of business. Trying to find The Truth is seemingly such a maze because we make mistakes and do not differentiate exactly, but goodness and product are clearly truth. IMO, these “leaders” of the Co$ & affiliates are using people, not giving product. The exchange factor isn’t there. One has to state the product, then deliver – some people make a ton of money just stating, “We will soak you with water!!” and there you have water parks. People get ticked off when you state one product and deliver another, because that takes away their power of choice and makes them feel stupid (not a good idea). The Co$ is now openly “mixing practices” and is no longer even a pretense of Scientology. I’m sorry for the people still “in” who think it is still Scientology, but it really isn’t anymore – there are too many lies and alterations and ulterior motives or cross-purposes on the lines. In the “church”, Scientology is playing second fiddle to $$$Money!!, and is now just a beast of burden ridden to death to serve a devious end.
Honesty is not a complicated thing to practice. If you look at it, it has roots in very esoteric truth, as stated in Scientology: integrity of a being. I know very “common” people who are always looking to see if they fulfilled. Love ’em. Do good business with ’em. Genuine Scientology, data and practice, works wonders for me – life isn’t easy, but there is a level where one can begin to work out the hard parts for oneself, the really hard parts, and Scientology is a way to get to that level, and continues to be an invaluable help when you’re there. Genuine Scientology does deliver everything promised. It is really more than sad to see it being trampled by a mob who do not even see what they are trampling – that is barbarism of the worst kind.
I want to acknowledge Mike for the info and Karen for her deep insight and cleverness in linking some not so easy to grasp dots.
What is the relationship between
-true religious believers
-a Church loosing its basic tenets and engaging in the quest for the Golden Calf
-the impossibility for any true Scientologist to really understand, handle or as-is what is happening since the 80’s to their Church ?
The SP found and exposed has not opened the door to handling yet. Is he just PTS then ? Then, whom is he PTS from even if a type III as he is ?
My reality is we are engaged in a 7th dynamic war. All this smell so strongly like any other past attempts to free man on earth. Doesn’t it smell like that to you ?
Ronnie Bell says
The SP found and exposed has not opened the door to handling yet.
I disagree, Orwen. I think the recognition that David Miscavige is THE suppressive person at the cause point of Scientology’s downfall, is the correct indication. I also believe that the door to a handling has been opened, and that that handling is occurring as we speak. Note that church membership is badly waning, as more and more people step away publicly, and others quietly ease away in the night. Every indication and stat of real importance shows that the church membership is rapidly withdrawing its support, which can only lead to the inevitable collapse of the Miscavige regime. That then, will open the door to reform of the organization.
Ronnie, you are right, it opened actually the door to a handling. But not in the way a handling is normally done. I consider it not handled yet as long as we can’t or don’t want anymore to associate with that church. It is not actually a handling, it is a fall in disapearance against which our Dear Leader is fighting with all his abilities and power sincerely believing he is the only one who can. Until oblivion. Until total destruction including disapearance of the Tech. It is a blessing we are out and continuing the quest for freedom and preserving the tech. Because all those who stays in at this stage are probably not in a condition to reform and even if they could they will need to confront such a mess I doubt they could easily make the turn.
