In reply to Skyler. If you see a story in the Tampa Bay Times about scientology, it was likely written by Tracey. She's a treasure, with big brass ones, as she tells it like it is, not necessarily the way scientology wants to be thought of. And so far, AFAICT, she's finessed her way around getting sued by scientology/Dwarfenführer®. SMART lady!

I am a registered Democrat and I voted blue for every single office except Sheriff. I left that blank because I cannot support Gualtieri or Santana. I was going to vote for Gualtieri until armed guards showed up at the Saint Pete polling location and Gualtieri did absolutely nothing about it

Contrary to the little one’s fantasies, scientology’s influence is largely negative. We’ve seen that it USED to hold some sway in Hollywood, but recently those who admit to be in scn are dropped from the a- lists, even the B- lists, falling down. down, down. Has Krusty done ANYTHING lately? How ’bout Travolta? I guess Cruise will appear in MI:2100 if he’s still alive (unlikely).It’s the only thing he’s “known” for, other than hopping on Oprah’s couch. He’ll keep doing it as long as they give it to him out of pity for its being the only thing he was half good in. The last MI he’ll appear in will be as the grizzled old mentor no longer in the thick of the game. That COULD be next year as isn’t he 60 or so now?
Are there ANY scn Hollywood A-listers left? Not, AFAICT.

Skyler, about “courageous journalists”,
Well, there are the major scn-watchers, Tony O and Mike, here, but I’m pretty impressed by one who simply is doing the job journalists are ALL supposed to be doing, but largely aren’t, such as the “LA Times”. Tracey McManus at the Tampa Bay Times. From the beginning, I’m sure she was aware of the personal and legal shit-storm she was likely to reap, but she keeps uncovering and reporting the truths that the scam don’t want anyone to know about. It seems the “Tampa Bay Times” management and owners are backing her up, or her stories wouldn’t be getting the prime real estate they enjoy. For those who don’t understand, there are certain spots an article can be placed which are more impactful than others: The front page “above the fold” is the real biggie, most should recognize.

The unfortunate possibility if this candidate IS elected, he may go soft on OTHER criminals in order to cover for his lack of prosecution of any possible Scientologist arrestees. Many Democrats in other jurisdictions across the country have supported such weak policies as Sanctuary Cities and failure to press charges on so-called “peaceful protestors.”

So the cult is trying to make an enemy of Pinellas County sheriff Bob Gualtieri, despite his long-suffering tolerance of Miscavige’s brutal shenanigans. No doubt they expect to get away with again. The cult is cynically using anger against the police to get their candidate on the inside.

Somebody who lives in the county should take a look at his public financial records. First, did he return any money he received for the city council race or did he just move that money over to his new campaign. That’s is illegal. If I also wonder who is printing up his campaign posters and flyers. Is scientology doing it on the side. That would also be illegal if not shown on his financial records. It would be interesting to see where the money and staff are coming from. Unfortunately that is not my county or state plus being out of the country now makes even voting hard. We have been in quarentine lockdown in the Philippines since March 15 th with no end in sight. Hopefully someone local checks into his financials.
