Like your video and it is so true. When my husband died, I got a call from an IAS person who was on staff with us years before. She said that she felt so bad and how they had been good buds. She said she was close to my area (I was 2 hours away from an org) and wanted to come see how my kids and I were doing.
She stuck to me like glue all afternoon and evening, even going to the boy scout meeting and staying for dinner talking to me the whole time about Germany…not my husband or my welfare, but the welfare of the church. She came armed with all her materials and her goal was to get what little insurance money I had (word travels fast) by having me buy LifeTime memberships for all my kids! She kept getting phone calls from her senior where she would say “Yes sir, she has the viewpoint.” I agreed with her all night, but never gave her a dime. Finally, she left at 2:00am in unexpressed resentment. Scientology has ALWAYS been about the money, but at least the wacko money loans etc of the past were about buying bridge, not MEST.

“Its not the money. Thats a by product of the evil intention of DM’s not wanting anyone to go free. Get them wrapped up as MEST and introverted about status.” Richard, this is so true! I have a friend on OT VII who is off now cuz the money well finally ran dry and they cant’ afford to pay for it anymore, but she told me, “don’t go into any orgs for any courses or any reason.” I asked “why?” She said, “It isn’t safe. They have regges and people that pounce on you the minute you step into the door.” What does this say about the church when an OT VII privately tells people not to step foot into an org? She continued by saying, “I’m afraid to go to any org because of all the pouncing and regging.” So if you figure she is one of many who feel that way, whether they admit it or not, the end result is no auditing occurring, no courses being done, and no auditors being made. If you impoverish them with IAS statuses and Idle Org donations, there is no money left with which to buy courses or auditing and their own spiritual salvation goes down the drain. That is the bigger picture than just the money and that is the heinous SP crime of the century.
