At least one Freedom Medal winner, Wendy Honor, was later declared. She wrote a email to her CF agreeing with the points in Debbie Cook’s email and resigning from the church. Perhaps Shorty is playing down the whole concept of Freedom Medal winners due to such experiences.

As a contractor was leaving my house today, he saw my copy of Leah Remini’s book, “Troublemaker.” He asked about it and said that he had seen the “Going Clear” documentary. He was horrified at Scn.

He said one of his clients was a Scn and it was such a “weird experience.” He said he went to their house in the San Fernando Valley, and they would never let him talk to the owner. All he got were the assistants etc. And they wouldn’t let him see the owner. And they talked to him by phone within the house, never in person. He thought that was very creepy. And he saw tons of materials (probably Basics) all over the place and it looked like they were throwing them out. (Or they were just stored there since the church made everyone buy tons of the Basics packages, and because people couldn’t sell them, they ended up warehousing them at their own house.) He was pretty freaked out by the experience, so he went home and googled the owner and said he was one of the head honchos that gets others into Scn. So that could mean he was a Power FSM, or a recruiter or reg. He couldn’t remember the person’s name. I asked if it was a celebrity. He said no. But well off and expensive house. My guess is it was a Power FSM because staff members can’t afford houses and live on base. It goes to show you that so many people saw and were affected greatly by “Going Clear: the Prison of Belief.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if they kept up with Jim Jones once DM realizes the gig is up.
