I want to address an important matter circulating in the former scientologist community for the last few weeks concerning a criminal investigation into child sexual abuse allegations against the father of Mirriam Francis. I will lay out the timeline and associated evidence in this blog post. First, I want to be clear: I don't want anyone attacking Mirriam or anyone else on my behalf. What Mirriam has been through in her life, mainly due to scientology, is something no person should ever have to face. For those seeking the actual facts, this blog post contains … [Read more...]

Cults and Social Media
I came across this article and am republishing it here because it contains a wealth of useful information, quoting 3 people in particular who I know personally understand the world of cults better than almost anyone: Prof. Stephen Kent, Dr. Steve Hassan and Dr. Janja Lalich. Their observations on cults, but also the insight into how the internet is now being employed, is important. Social media is a dangerous cesspool of lies and those of dubious motivations. Minnah Arshad and Jeanine Santucci In an era when almost anyone can reach millions on the internet, where is the line … [Read more...]
Columbus Expanded “Manifold” Times
Another example of scientology shooting itself in the foot with their own statistics. This org Org is manned primarily with Sea Org members— Kathleen Olsen was one of those shipped off to this org that the Aftermath Foundation helped to escape. Columbus became “ideal” 4 years ago. Apparently what they are most proud of (perhaps more accurately, the least embarrassing thing they can point to) is selling 11,000 books and getting “over 700” people onto their first service. Not a word about the real stats that are supposed to measure the success of an org: how many Clears and Class V audi … [Read more...]
New Leah & Mike Video: Scientology’s Fair Game Poster Child Caught Trying to Frame Leah
Kendrick (Rick) Moxon is an OT VIII scientologist and an “in-house” lawyer for scientology who maintains an office within the Office of Special Affairs International on the 10th floor of the HGB. He has been an operative carrying out scientology Fair Game activities since the mid-1970's, and continues to this day. His wife (Carla) is a prominent scientologist. His children are/were SO members. Here is just a brief summary of what Rick Moxon has been involved in. The relentless and unchanging nature of scientology's efforts to harass and destroy those it perceives as ene … [Read more...]
Scientology’s War on Judges
Following the recent blog post about the April 1978 article in the Washington Post from April 1978, I came across this one from May 78 by the same reporter. Once again, scientology's own documents indict them (in this case, literally). Though they deny everything, the people who were indicated (including Mary Sue Hubbard) all pled guilty and spent time in Federal prison. Of course, scientology cannot change it's modus operandi. As I said in my earlier post, the only reason we don't have documents today like this today is there has been no raid to gather the evidence of their current … [Read more...]
Disseminating Scientology is Simple Thanks to Captain Miscavige
It is amazing all the things Captain Miscavige has personally provided these powerful scientologists to enable them to "not only boom the org but truly achieve St Hill size." Obviously these otherwise awesome people are NOT using the brilliant tools Mr. Mickiewicz has toiled and labored so hard to bring them, as scientology orgs all over the world are shrinking rapidly. How long is it since Miscavige has announced a "St Hill Size org"? 20 years? The last one I recall was Joburg org -- that might have been 2004 or 2005... Yet, reaching St Hill Size is the target for all orgs -- not just … [Read more...]
How Many Taxpayer-Subsidized Mansions, Homes and Offices Does A Dead Man Need?
This might seem like a foolish question -- but not when it come to L. Ron Hubbard. He apparently needs a whole lot of homes and even more offices... It is one of the lesser-known bizarre facts about scientology and the worship of L. Ron Hubbard that subsequent to his death (or in the words of David Miscavige he "discarded the body... he had used to facilitate his existence in this MEST universe," because it "had ceased to be useful and in fact had become an impediment to the work he now must do outside of its confines”), many fully furnished mansions and lavish homes were co … [Read more...]
The Black Bag Department
Reposting earlier posts during my vacation. I may do a YouTube piece about this, as it fits with the general theme of scientology Fair Game and disdain for the law... I just wasn't able to get one put together before I left. Marty has been doing a good job of exposing the unalterable policies of the church concerning dealing with perceived enemies. One aspect not much discussed is who are the "outside professionals" hired to do the dirty work. And while there is a lot that is done by Sea Org OSA staff, Class V (local DSAs like Mark Warburg and John Carmichael) and public … [Read more...]
Flag Christmas J&D Sing Along
Christi Gordon sent me copies of these pages which were created at Flag, Christmas 1976. They are the lyrics for a musical performance that was part of the annual Bosun's party (I wrote about the infamous first Bosun's Party at Flag in 1975 in my book). The lyrics would be considered horrendous "J&D" now -- Hubbard had not yet invented that term which was announced in his Bulletin Jokers and Degraders in February 1977 (maybe he got a report about this performance?). Some of the notable lines: No need to panic, it's just another bomb threat The citizens of Clearwater … [Read more...]
Through the Bubble – Lili’s Adventures in Scientologyland Part 28 The End
Again, my apologies to Lili, this was supposed to have run yesterday. This is the final chapter in the always entertaining, humorous, yet often heartbreaking story of one woman's life in scientology. It's a little longer than usual, but it's the climax to the story so I indulged Lili a bit, preferring one final chapter rather than splitting it into two. I want to personally thank Lili for taking the time to tell her story. I know it has resonated with a lot of people -- many of her experiences are "been there, done that" moments for anyone who has been in scientology. The more people who … [Read more...]
