Whenever I think of PI’s with connection to Scientology. I think Adam Sigal. Up and coming film director. He made that awful indie movie Chariot. Which more or less was an attack on the profession of psychology in 2022. Several Scientology 2nd gens were cast in it. Now he’s working with Neil Gaiman. Yep..Neil. Who will be providing voicework for the Nandoor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose film. Sigal wrote and directed. Christopher Lloyd, Minnie Driver and Tom Cruise’s long time co-star Simon Pegg. Giving validity to the project. Adam has bragged in the past about all the spying he did on people in Hollywood. To the point he had a meeting with a big name in the industry, trying to get one of his films made. Adam had JUST been staking out their house on a PI gig. Sigal’s parents are of course long time and loyal members of the church, in Clearwater. His mother has even given her opinion to the Tampa Bay times about protests around the church. Around the time of Chariot’s release his then partner, Melissa Mcphail ( Sci-fi writer and Scientologist) died from cancer. They were also business partners, Mcphail providing the support Sigal needed. Let’s just say that mere months after her death. Sigal was onto a new and much younger girlfriend. I guess there is a callous nature that comes with years as a PI and Scientology stooge. Her death was used to market his failed indie flick. Several big names have lined up to work with the unknown Sigal in the last three years. Makes you wonder if his years of being a PI, gave him some great leverage. With Neil, helping I’m sure he will go far. Neil sure likes to help Scientologists. For not being one? Allegedly.

Thankyou for naming names. That's a great contribution for posterity, for the history of Scientology's nastiness done "legally".

There are so many exceptions. Eugene Ingram, for instance, one person who was royally screwed when they left the Int Base, now deceased, Blake Huffam (Apollo vet, and long term loyal person to LRH) was in distress for not getting his "MEST" (stuff in storage at Int when he left). Eugene was part of Blake's "handling" and ensured Blake got all his engineering and hobby items Blake had treasured. Blake spoke well, surprisingly, of Eugene, who Blake had no idea of Eugene's nasty side and history.

So even the worst of the worst, I heard straight from Blake's mouth, where Blake expressed thanks to Eugene for this one instance of getting Blake all of his belongings back.

-------------------------

Me I've had only the tiniest interaction with only one PI who was upfront, and his last name was Richardson, I think if my memory is right. I just told him over the phone it was, to put whatever he had to tell me in writing so I could go over it with my lawyer.

And I had one phone call, or maybe two, from Elliot Abelson, and again, I said whatever Elliot had to say I have better have it in writing so I could go over it with a lawyer.

Just ask for crap from Scientology in writing, and way way way back, I took Tory Christman's advice (and Gerry Armstrong's advice), but Tory said hire "PrePaid Legal" which came out to back then only 65 bucks, and they give you free legal advice, you have to pester them repeatedly if they don't really come through for you, and they are on on the clock, so pester them for your one month of "free" legal advice from them within that one month time frame to get anything from them.

Graham Berry offered help referring to other lawyers. Gerry Armstrong gave his highest praise for Ford Greene, and I referred others to Ford Greene, one person took Ford up to great results.

And I wrote to many helpful lawyers and got loads of free advice.

But I never noticed any PI stuff against me, except the Richardson PI phone call, which I ended quickly asking the guy to put it in writing. Same with the phone call from Elliot Abelson.
