‘Ravages of the week?” Really? So…every week you have a different “ravage?” Sounds like a world infested by WOGS. Here at the beach, “Ravages of the Week” are banned. You settle in with a laid back vibe and enjoy the weather.

Here is the “Prayer For Total Freedom”:

A PRAYER FOR TOTAL FREEDOM

May the author of the universe enable all men to reach an understanding of their spiritual nature.

May awareness and understanding of life expand, so that all may come to know the author of the universe.

And may others also reach this understanding which brings Total Freedom.

At this time, we think of those whose liberty is threatened; of those who have suffered imprisonment for their beliefs; of those who are enslaved or martyred, and for all those who are brutalized, trapped or attacked.

We pray that human rights will be preserved so that all people may believe and worship freely, so that freedom will once again be seen in our land.

Freedom from war, and poverty, and want; freedom to be; freedom to do and freedom to have.

Freedom to use and understand Man’s potential—a potential that is God-given and Godlike.

And freedom to achieve that understanding and awareness that is Total Freedom.

May God let it be so.

Not sure where you got the idea that scientology teaches that Buddha was not real? Most scientologists believe L. Ron Hubbard was Buddha, based on Hymn of Asia.

I would think that the idea is not that one is praying “to” anyone, but “for” something.

Its always funny how Co$ uses crosses and other aspects of Christian churches to present a facade of being a “religion”…

Question: in the service description that you provided here, there was mention of a prayer given (Scientologist Prayer for Total Freedom, was it?)…as Scientology teaches that Jesus, Buddha and other religious concepts were not real at all but were actually falsified memory implants, then WHO/WHAT are scientologists at that service praying TO? Are they praying to LRH or Davey Miscarriage?

I attended one of Alfreddie’s talks on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., his mentor. It was actually a very good talk because he showed videos of MLK talking about freedom and fairness and decency.

Alfreddie actually made a comment that he had been on course and read about the “Life Continuum” and realized that he was in one with MLK. That’s when I knew he was actually ON the Bridge.

Even then, even though I wasn’t verbal about my disagreements at the time, I thought, “Well, there goes your VIP status, Rev. Johnson. Now they can use you for free and, instead of saving you for big events, they’ll get you to do these piss ant events in the Little Theatre and never promote it.” I think that there may have been 15 to 20 people max at that event. It was actually a dishonor to MLK, in my view, because it was the anniversary of his death and it should have been a more major event.

Anyway, now Alfreddie is one of the minions, sort of.

I understand that he is the one who brought The Nation of Islam to the alter of David Miscavige.

I digress but, I’m watching for the day that Mr. Louis Farrakhan gets an up close and personal look at what’s really happening with his and his parishioners’ money or gets stung by DM. Hell hath no fury like a preacher scorned.

I think it’s going to wind up to be a pairing from hell for DM, in the long run, on the hole.

What exactly would be the definition of an “ideal auditor”?
I would bet my house that the majority of ideal donators wouldn’t have a clue what 25 hours a week in the chair actually means, let alone what it feels like. The blind leading the blind pales compared to the broke convincing the not quite broke to give give give.
