Wow, very eye opening and educational. I have shared a lot of these with friends. One in particular whose daughter is now going through a very difficult time with her soon to be ex. My hope is that her daughter can just get out of this marriage because the fear is that now that she is standing up for herself it has turned dangerous for her. There were signs but after a while is just became her feeling it was her fault, My friend and her husband had grown to love this pecker head and now realize there were signs, but never dreamed this “sweet” guy is now a stranger, an actor and now the person has revealed what he really is. Once their daughter stood her ground this turned his world upside down, what worked in the past doesn’t work any more.

Trying to leave is a dangerous time.

She shows the difference between a sociopath and a narcissist and her description is , to me , remarkable .
She gives a window into their soul and how they view the world and people in it .

Yes – you are surely right… nacistic behaviour comes in place, when you follow in all situations the rules from LRH… but I think you have to get into the valence from Ron… and as you make progress on the Bridge… which some people really do… also gave the must give Success Storie of a reached goal… followed by ethics actions, when you get some doubt about… called PTS in SCN… but, and, and – when Doubt and Introspection is called as lower conditions… and you get finally fixed on it… you will naturally become narcistic… but in the valence of an other… by nature is every Men narcistic… only with the ability to doubt, or ability to introspect… in a lecture from SHSBC has LRH once said “without the ability to introspect, one can never become Clear or OT”… naturally is this true… following narcistic people – narcistic people are always in a valence… they are under the rules of another… But LRH is one who wanted to give rules… but finally it is the same… he could not stay on his post as founder without being narcistic… Okay… In my study of his works – he realized it sometimes for himself… but neglected it later… So, I wanted to give you my words, because I like you comments always… since years… you have to be a nice guy… think so…

I have just had a “cognition of magnitude”, that is to say, I now see that the Church of Scientology itself is, as an organization, narcissist.
Think about it; the organization ticks EVERY box in the itemized list of qualifications for narcissism.

No matter WHAT happens, ALL that is important, all that one should be concerned with, is how Co$ is affected or disaffected.

No matter what goes wrong, the wrongness is NEVER ever ever ever caused by the Church of Scientology.

No matter what happens that is good and right, it is always due to the Church of Scientolgy.

All people, groups or organizations experiencing problems have ALWAYS “pulled in” their own problems

The Church of Scientology is the exception to this rule: Co$ NEVER “pulls in” its own problems.

Anything that anyone or any group says that is favorable about Scientology is ALWAYS the truth.

Everythhing that anyone or any group says that is unfavorable about Scientology is NEVER the truth.

Anything that Scientology as an organization does to an individual, a group or an organization in order to redress a wrong is ALWAYS right, fair and just.

Anything that any individual, group or organization does to the Church of Scientology in order to redress a wrong is ALWAYS wrong, unfair, and unjust.

The Church of Scientology can use the law to its full extent to redress any wrongs the organization believes or knows it has sustained against any individual, group or organization.

Any individual, group, organization or government which uses the law at all to redress any wrongs is automatically wrong and out-ethics for doing so, and pursuing a legal case without merit.

These are just off the top of my head. There have to be lots more. Probably each of the cult’s High Crimes are evidence of Scientology’s being a totally narcissistic organization.

The flip side is that if we aren’t like them (and don’t have the information), we try to explain or manage their behavior from our own perspective, thinking we’re doing the right thing.

Tony Ortega has called scn a “narcissist factory” and I think he has a point. At the least, it attracts, supports and validates narcissists. It also attracts empathetic people who want to help the world. This is what makes it so crazy.

Understanding narcissism was very helpful to my recovery. I had the double-whammy of being married to a narcissist and being in scn at the same time. Two people mentioned in this article: Dr. Ramini and Les Carter both have YouTube channels that helped me understand more deeply what was going on and recover from the abuse. Plus, they’re interesting and entertaining people.

It was abuse. I wasn’t crazy. And life without them is beautiful.
