That’s an excellent point. The CF may have had importance back in the 50’s and 60’s, but it is no longer a good form of communication or organization in 2016. Now we send emails, texts, chat through phone apps, etc. Plus the addresses are probably for the most part really outdated. How many people have moved, relocated, or just plain are no longer interested, and what a waste of time energy and manpower to compose handwritten letters to these folks. Paper records and folders in most business have been replaced by searchable, sort-able, easily modifiable data bases… but not in Scientology I guess. Good tech, guys. – T.J.

This discussion of CFs gave me a wognition: CFs are useful, just not the way Elwrong says they are. Elwrong’s idea: these are people who are reaching for $cn. Well another reason for the out of PT in CF is management at the time I was there continued to change what needed to go into a CF folder or adding more things to go into ALL CF folders. Or PAC bringing the dead back to life or killing off the live ones all via computer mess ups once they got involved with the local CF updates, good grief.
