Well, there are snakes and then there are snakes.
I feel decidedly worst about the blood-sucking, poisonous kind.

Compared to scientology, the Catholics are more like what you find in the garden,
in sunny California.
I did hate sunday school as a kid, and it was brainwashing, but passing off a mythological story is not the same thing as pressing a belief-system in order to isolate you from the rest of humanity so that you can be controlled (“Oh, no! We don’t call it that!), then sapped dry of your finances and resources, every last dollar and honest-to-god SLAVERY for the rest of your life, no kidding?
Scientology is like a bird of its own. I’ll take mainstream religion any day, just to stay away from the cult of deception and pass away Sunday mornings singing hymns, with devotion and a smile, just for the freedom of saying,
“I am not a scientologist.”
