Again, you are letting it all out in exactly how the cult money machine grooms, controls, manipulates and destroys a person's finances, will and self respect. It's all for the cherch. So many of them have gotten sick, died prematurely or been driven to a deceitful lifestyle of hiding, turning phones off and RUNning at top speed away while appearing to still be loyal member. What kind of a corruption of a religion is this.

Thank you for telling your story.

Door to door sales people of any nature are why I just loved my big ole hairy German Shepard. They only heard the bark. They didn't realize her tail was wagging and she was just looking to get petted.

As the "sales people" left my yard in a hurry I simply petted her on the head, gave her a milk bone that she dearly loved and said, "Good Girl."

End of problem. It worked well on JW too. We had them not scientologists. I really felt sorry for them but didn't want to listen to them squawk.

Great use of the Hubbard wisdom nonsense.

One thing that Hubbard in the FEBC lectures to the top admin bureaucrats of the cult taught is "booms and depressions" and how to dislodge out of the impasse Scientology doldrums of the "reduced to the irreducible minimum" status that all things typically descend into.

"Small and failing orgs" was another Scientology favorite way to characterize Scientology loser "cherches".

Small and failing orgs which had reduced to the irreducible minimum. But Canadian Orgs did decline even further into nothingness and require "Missions" from the continental bureaucrats of Sea Org to come hold the fort and keep the show on the road.

"Keeping the show on the road" just exudes Hubbard's training which he had post WWII in "centennial celebration" events PR that cities around the USA at that time, were holding. Hubbard trained as PR for those centennials, he lectured in some of his PR lectures to Sea Org managers and staff trainees.

"keeping the show on the road" is a staple Hubbard self describing earnest word he used.

Even when the small and failing orgs who'd reduced themselves to the irreducible minimum and literally all staff left the org.

Kitchener Org.

If the public knew that upper Scientology sold exorcism pseudo-therapy to fix Xenu's dump of body-thetans onto earth infesting all earthlings, things would have been even worse.

Xenu and body-thetans talk really gets to Scientology and those Hubbard taboo backfiring words need even wider spreading to have even more widespread backlash on Hubbard's quackery empire.

Great to hear you sold Fuller Brushes!

After I quit Sea Org, after 27 years in, my first job was "Go For" for a cabinet making company, and then three sales jobs, door to door, in a row, and I found I loved door to door chatting. (Cult member selling the ridiculous Hubbard "products" is picked up by osmosis by long term Scientology staffers, I believe in hindsight, making door to door sales fun, I still love going door to door for my current job.)

But I came to the conclusion that brushes, and selling Fuller Brushes I really honestly could have done that. I love brushes, and even today, buy brushes and enjoy them all, sadly no Fuller Brush salespeople come to my door, LOL. I'd buy their brushes, and happily.

I'm not joking. If you saw how many spare brushes I have in my home and car, you'd laugh.

One of the odd oozing aspects of Scientology/Hubbard sell sell sell sell mentality. But brushes absolutely are more human beneficial for real, compared to Hubbard's "LRH products" Scientology incorporated sells.

Re: "Why would you abandon a Working Installation to try something Unproven as Yet?” The Registrar yelled...

I don't know what I would have done if a Registrar started yelling and spewing LRH references and quotes regarding the policies I had supposedly violated.

Looking back at my years as a public Scientologist at ASHO Day, I had what I would call my very own Registrar: Bill Bertinot. What an amiable guy.

I remember Bill's first day on the EPF in the Sea Org. Bill and his then- wife, Jane, we're assigned to our dining table. Most of us had been on the EPF long enough to know that we never ate when we were hungry, and that food arrived on our table in rations only. Small rations. I think we could have only two pancakes per person at breakfast. Well, when Bill arrived and made himself at home at our table that morning, he happened to be seated next to all the pancakes that our table would be getting.

Bill naturally dug right in, temporarily scoring about six pancakes which didn't quite arrive on his plate. Instead, when he saw the look of absolute shock, horror and disgust, he knew right away that he'd done something wrong.

Welcome to the Sea Org!
