Hi Terra – I had the idea that Rick was maybe twenty one years old. He’s had a presumably sexual relationship with his ex girlfriend who is a few years older than him and lives independently so I figured she might be twenty five or so. He has a credit card with a multiple thousand dollar limit. Some people stretch out community college courses and a few other things.

Anyhow, myself and some male and female friends became beer drinkers toward the end of high school and my parents and probably their parents were aware of it and apparently trusted us to be careful and responsible. The laws about drinking and driving were lax in the 1960s and the legal drinking age in New York state was eighteen. I lived in New Jersey but occasionally the gang would pile into a car and head to New York.

Isn’t there a law against impersonating a police officer ? (rhetorical question, as WOG law doesn’t apply to Scinos, right?)) I was thinking that when he said he was with SBPD it could have stood for “Santa Barbara Private Detectives” or some similar acronym, but the “None other.” would be identifying himself as a police detective. So that would be impersonating.
