Hi, Mike,
Just to let you know, I thought the A & E documentary by you and Leah Remini was excellent. I always had an interest in learning about other religions, and I first heard about scientology in the 80s because of certain celebrity followers. I confused it with christian science until I did some research on it. I was somewhat familiar with L. Ron Hubbard as a science fiction writer, but I never really liked his work. Anyway, I certainly learned enough about the controversy over the years and celebrity followers. Top Gun Tom Cruise was the stuff of my teenage fantasies, but I found Scientology Tom Cruise a big turn off. I could never understand why these women (Kidman, Holmes, Cruz) were so dumb as to get involved with this guy, but then I guess Cruise can be very mesmerizing to a starstruck young actress so forgive me for being judgmental. I was raised a Christian, but I was taught to view religion, even the fundamentalist christian religions, with a critical eye by my mother due to her own experience with my dad's more fundamentalist beliefs. Anyway, I developed a lot of respect for Katie Holmes (and Kidman too) when she escaped Crusie/ Scientology with Suri. I know this post is a bit dated, but it certainly shows with time that Cruise did disconnect from Suri as he hasn't been seen with her since 2013. I don't know if this is because of direct order from DM, or his own beliefs that Suri is now a PTS. On some level, I find this sad for little Suri because it has to hurt to know her father wants nothing to do with her. Yet, it probably is for the best because Katie does not have to worry about this idiot trying to indoctrinate Suri behind her back during his visitation time. That said, I wonder if Cruise will try to reconnect with Suri when she is 18 in the hopes she will become a scientologist without Katie's interference, or will he turn his back on her if she tries to seek him out like L. Ron Hubbard did to his daughter Alexis from his marriage to Sarah Northrup? What do you think he would do based on your experience with him? I was always curious about this.

Yeah I'm clearly omnipotent and omniscient Mike ;)

Well I wasn't thinking of auditing you I was just thinking of applying the Auditors Code for my own personal reasons.

But if you do want some auditing. I'd be happy to give you some.

I clearly don't have it all figured out. I wish I did but I don't.

As far as I'm concerned to use an auditing analogy it's still an incomplete list.

So if I seem surely at times it's because I haven't found *my* item.

Hey even with all the arguing and that we've done. I feel more like I'm family here than I've felt anywhere else on the Web.

Mike.

Even though we may disagree at times. It doesn't mean I don't love ya.

Take care Bro.

In reply to <a href="https://www.mikerindersblog.org/tom-cruise-and-disconnection/#comment-23074">Mike Rinder</a>.

"You set forth the answer your own rhetorical questions. Why would the “Ol’man” issue so many contradictory things?"

Actually if you look at my comments Mike they are merely speculation.

Not answers.

"Funny, you are so smart as to not follow anything robotically, but you are extremely robotic in your arguments. Something that disproves your assertions “probably wasn’t written by LRH.”"

Not really.

"If I say it “couldn’t be” as it wasnt approved by the “International Board” (that has never existed)."

From HCO POLICY LETTER OF 5 MARCH 1965 Issue II
POLICY: SOURCE OF:

"A "policy letter" is not Scientology org policy unless written or authorized by L. Ron Hubbard and passed as a resolution or covered by blanket resolution of the International Board and issued or published by an HCO. It is not policy if any of those steps are missing.

"The International Board is composed of three Board Members, L. Ron Hubbard, Chairman, Mary Sue Hubbard, Secretary, and Marilynn Routsong, Treasurer. It is the controlling board of Scientology."

"Or it’s just a misinterpretation of Fair Game because the “ol’man” never said anything like that — but really he did say many things like that, including “they would be run over by a Mack truck, and I don’t mean figuratively.” "

The fact that he never did that proves my point.

It was as you like to call what I write at times, rhetoric.

"Or then there are “those policies that allegedly have the Ol’man’s signature which are off the wall fucking crazy” followed by “Oh please.” Like “everyone knows” that you would be an idiot to think that L. Ron Hubbard wrote anything that didnt make perfect sense…. There is always an excuse/reason/explanation based on some supposition or “could have been” that rationalizes it."

He'll I'll admit the Ol'man wrote and said some things that would be considered "bat shit crazy" by your average "wog". Like fer instance "The Role of Earth" and "Between Lives Implants" (ya know the one Mr. Miscknowitall denied vehemently to Ted Koppel didn't exist) or many of the HCOBs on the SHSBC about R6 Implants.

But technically what he said or wrote pretty much made sense and it worked whereas turning your PC over to the EO or MAA for waiting until they got in session to get off a withhold doesn't on both counts.

Here I'll refer to HCO BULLETIN OF 24 JANUARY 1977 TECH CORRECTION ROUND-UP:

Auditors and Scientologists for 27 years have tended to be suspicious of HCOBs and Policy Letters not written by myself.
Until a few months ago my opinion was that this, while flattering, was not en- tirely justified.
However, these last few months have sharply changed my belief into total agree- ment with all those who have expressed some fear of reinterpretations of bulletins by others.
I have been engaged for some months now in a round-up of out tech issues.
And I have found, I am sorry to say, that mice have been gnawing at the pillars of the Bridge, putting up traffic barriers and false detour signs.
I have been finding serious out tech issues and correcting them.
Whether because of misunderstood words (the commonest cause of out tech alter- ations) or other reasons, there have been a staggering number of tech sectors that have been corrupted by issues by others that alter-ised.
The corrections I have been doing have been, are being or will be issued shortly. However, not all auditors and Scientologists keep pace with current issues and so I am here giving you a rapid summary of the gross departures from standard tech which have occurred in the past 3 or 4 years and their corrections.
So you were right!
A very few people (3 or 4) have wittingly or unwittingly brought about outnesses which could easily make the difference between successful case handling and failed cases.
Action has been taken to handle them and there are a great many good people at work now in compiling and reissuing the workable tech which I developed in the first place.
It is now forbidden to write an HCOB or an HCO PL and sign my name to it.
If anyone helped compile it or wrote it, my name is followed by “Assisted by_____” the person who helped get it back together at my directions.
Also no Board Technical Bulletin may cancel an HCOB. So from here on you are relatively safe.
I am always the first to tell you and this is no exception.
TECH CORRECTIONS 274
There follows here a long list of incorrect procedures or data found to have been issued.
Also a brief rundown of the correct procedure will be found, which is the correct and standard tech.
What makes tech correct? When it doesn’t get results it is incorrect. When it gets the expected result it is correct.

"Like I said earlier, you are free to believe what you want. And I pretty much let you say what you want as you are polite and generally your views aren’t offensive to the public I am interested in reaching with this blog. But there are often things you say that are just not true. Though if I ever offer any information that contradicts anything you say, I know it is going to start an endless back and forth unless I just ignore it."

As you know from reading SOS there are different levels of "truth" and "truth" can be quite malleable according to the PR Series there is an "acceptable truth".

Aside from that Mike.

No one has a monopoly on the truth.

Many of the times I say things that you say are "untrue" either because I was misinformed or did not have all the facts.

(Like the TRD which it turns out was not an OSA Op but run through HCO)

That said there are things that I say that are true and that you don't seem to want to acknowledge like the *documented* use of Scientology OT technology by the IC.

Or the well *documented* fact that the Church of Scientology was indeed being infiltrated by informants and Agent Provocateurs and that to suspect that Meisner and Wolfe were possibly two example is not some paranoid delusion.

Christ Franks so much admitted on Public Radio on the Program Democracy Now that he was an informant for the FBI.

Not to mention all the solid research done by Omar Garrison in his two books Hidden Story and Playing Dirty.

"You don’t seem willing to accept that there is information that you DONT have."

Not true!

I am totally willing to accept information I don't have. But the old story of the Ol'man hiding out at Creston and secretly running Scientology exclusively by R-Advices has pretty much been told on ARS back in the day that its gotten old.

"That’s unfortunate. I am not responding because I enjoy the time engaging in what are silly arguments with you."

Ok.

I'm sorry.

That was my bad.

All I can say it was in response to an earlier Donny Brook we had earlier when you accused me of thinking it was all "butterflies an unicorns" implying that I was somehow theety wheetie for somehow not agreeing with you that Ron was not the reincarnation of Black Beard or even suggesting that Miscavige was doing the same thing as the Ol'man by ruling by decree.

There is absolutely no comparison between him and Ron except maybe in his own mind!

In this cases differences are so different that there isn't even an incidental similarity.

I mean you could say that like Ron he's a man.

But in this case I agree with the Robertson crowd and suspect he is an alien life form.

"I am simply tying to get the truth known."

Yes but....

In my opinion the truth has many aspects and multiple viewpoints.

Not one person knows the whole truth. Not even Ron.

"Give my regards to the butterflies an unicorns."

Funny that's what certain members of the GO and HCO used to accuse me of when I refused to dig up dirt on PC's for 'em.

Not in those exact words but pretty close.

Ya know I was one of those "Theety Wheetie Tech Guyz" as if caring more for the PC than the ominous Organization was more important.

Bull shit!

If it wasn't for gaining the PCs trust and keeping it there would no Organization ominous or otherwise.

A graphic example is what's going down now.

Sure some of it could be Miscavige or some shadowy Government Conspiracy but it is mostly due to a lack of trust.

How can you trust an organization that spills your deepest darkest secrets?

You may be able to keep those you have in line by coercion, extortion and black mail but the public in general will repel ya like the plague.

Well Mike it's been nice having this discussion and I promise to follow a more polite discussion format.

My apologies if I upset you and I will try to apply my Auditors Code in the future.

“You don’t seem willing to accept that there is information that you DONT have.”

Not true!

I am totally willing to accept information I don’t have. But the old story of the Ol’man hiding out at Creston and secretly running Scientology exclusively by R-Advices has pretty much been told on ARS back in the day that its gotten old.

“That’s unfortunate. I am not responding because I enjoy the time engaging in what are silly arguments with you.”

Ok.

I’m sorry.

That was my bad.

All I can say it was in response to an earlier Donny Brook we had earlier when you accused me of thinking it was all “butterflies an unicorns” implying that I was somehow theety wheetie for somehow not agreeing with you that Ron was not the reincarnation of Black Beard or even suggesting that Miscavige was doing the same thing as the Ol’man by ruling by decree.

There is absolutely no comparison between him and Ron except maybe in his own mind!

In this cases differences are so different that there isn’t even an incidental similarity.

I mean you could say that like Ron he’s a man.

But in this case I agree with the Robertson crowd and suspect he is an alien life form.

“I am simply tying to get the truth known.”

Yes but….

In my opinion the truth has many aspects and multiple viewpoints.

Not one person knows the whole truth. Not even Ron.

“Give my regards to the butterflies an unicorns.”

Funny that’s what certain members of the GO and HCO used to accuse me of when I refused to dig up dirt on PC’s for ’em.

Not in those exact words but pretty close.

Ya know I was one of those “Theety Wheetie Tech Guyz” as if caring more for the PC than the ominous Organization was more important.

Bull shit!

If it wasn’t for gaining the PCs trust and keeping it there would no Organization ominous or otherwise.

A graphic example is what’s going down now.

Well Mike it’s been nice having this discussion and I promise to follow a more polite discussion format.

My apologies if I upset you and I will try to apply my Auditors Code in the future.

Lv

Too late he already is a laughing stock.
Look at reviews and box office for his last two flicks.
The way he struts around in full arrogance mode is comical and frighteningly similar to Dinky Miscarriage.
TC is an excellent example of a true Hollywood prima dona.
His best years and roles are behind him.
His career is on the backside of the hill going down.

I cannot help but picture him someday as old a failing with jet black dyed hair, wearing a black turtle neck going on about how he was a big being and was somebody once. How he tried to save the world but we werent ready.

Oooooo, just had a thought. Teen bride and bubble head Courtney Stodden is single again, and she has a thing for creepy older wierdos.....match made on Teegeeack.

Indie8million,

I am of the opinion that TC IS being told by David Miscavige when and how he can stay in touch with Suri and Katie, who are not declared overtly with goldenrod, but who are still considered SPs.

I believe that his divorce settlement documents include detailed stipulations about his visits to Suri not only on Katie's side but on HIS as well. I believe that one of these is that even if arranges with Katie to visit with Suri, if for any reason OSA (read DM) doesn't like it because the timing of the visit could possibly inflict bad PR on the RCS, then TC can cancel and Katie has to accept that..

Again, this is just my opinion because I certainly have no direct knowledge, but I don't believe that TC is free to just up and see Suri when he feels like it and Katie agrees and despite the plan conforming to their written arrangement I think he needs OSA clearance first. I think DM needs to sign off on any and all of his visits, on a case by case basis.

I think last year TC wanted to see her but OSA wouldn't let him. I think TC is now a thoroughly controlled being, for which unhappy condition he is 100 responsible My 2 cents.

Actually, there really wasn't much that TC could truthfully say. He really is between a rock and a hard place. He can't admit that DM didn't want him to see Suri publicly at a time too close to the IAS Event. He can't say that although Suri is not a declared SP that still he has to get clearance from OSA and DM in order to visit his own daughter. He can't say that he's been ordered to sue because of the wording ("Abandoned") in the headline, which makes also the RCS looks bad. There is just so much that he cannot say because this lawsuit is about the RCS looking bad, essentially. With this lawsuit TC is walking a tightrope for the RCS's sake and there's almost nothing he can say which doesn't make the church look bad, and himself like an arrogant religious fanatic.
