The truth of this is well known to me, yet, reading this, I got a chill down my back.

Jenni, all kidding aside, I know a great knitting group you can join in LA. And these ladies actually go good with some of their knitting by making hats, gloves, scarves, blankets for battered women and their children. That’s more than our church groups ever did. And the knitting ladies don’t even bring a Gold photo shoot team with them to make sure they get great PR shots from it. They just do it expecting nothing in return, something Davie knows nothing about.

Steve, now THAT is straight up and vertical. Your site grows by 4,000 a day. That is so awesome. The church wishes they could have half your expansion and growth. And to all UTR’s, come out and sign the Indie 500 list. You’ll make a bunch of new friends overnight. And you’ll feel 10 feet tall because your integrity is in and you made a stand. The church is too swamped putting out fires to hunt you down and fair game you for signing. We are small potatoes to them what with all the lawsuits and refund cycles and people leaving the church every day. So no one will try to fair game you if you sign the Indie 500 list. Just do it! (Please?)

Thank you for that lovely compliment! Actually I’m 69 and my photo is only a year old. I also wanted to say that when I was in the Orange County OTC one of my tasks was writing the minutes and I wish I had copies now to show for comparison. Mine were MUCH better. Even while nurturing serious doubts about the ideal org strategy, I was able to focus on the game I was playing at the time and inject some real enthusiasm into the minutes. The Valley ones are anemic. Perhaps as time goes on it is just harder and harder to believe the OTC activities are going anywhere.

The emphasis on saving the planet and mankind. As if it is a life or death situation. Only Scientologists can save Earth from all of the evil and chaos. I would constantly be told “Get your stats up we have to save the planet!” Only to be handed a list of people to call and ask them for money donations. I really wanted to go out and help people. Go to a homeless shelter, or a Veteran’s clinic. Anything. I would ask other staff members why can’t we go out and actually help people? Then I’d be told that getting people on lines & on course is the only way to help people.Of course we all know Scientology doesn’t give these courses for free. Scientology will only accept you if you have money.

I would not sit around in a knitting circle per se 🙂 But I would sit around for hours each day at the org. Reading books, staring at LRH’s statue, daydreaming I was out with my friends. While I’m accomplishing nothing at the org. I was never a part of The OTC, but essentially being on staff or Sea Org is a big knitting circle.

Scientology is a perverted trap of disillusionment.There is no concern for helping people. There is no concern of helping mankind. You are used as a pawn to feed the machine of greed and deception. Scientology is like a gas pump. As long as you put money into it, it fills you up with false hope. Once your money runs out, they could care less about you.
