What’s a “wrong move” in this situation anyway? There is no move possible that can save the day, and frankly, not much that can make it any worse. This thing is swirling the drain, and DM sticking in his hand to disrupt that swirl isn’t going to cause the total volume of liquid to drain out any faster or slower. Many of already said he’s rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic — it’s an apt metaphor.

He hides his head in the sand and says, “the church will eventually right itself” and he is too busy to do the bridge now anyway as he works 2 jobs.
