DenCar, there are quite a few people who are wealthy but not that smart, particularly when it comes to actors, who may tend to have more than their share of psychological issues as well. There are almost no actual doctors in Scientology; they have dentists and chiropractors, who do things like sell advance treatment plans and supplements, and set up clinic networks if they’re ambitious. Often the path to wealth is simply the sort of hardcore sales ability that could sell refrigerators to eskimos, like Cardone or Cummins. And even smart people can have blind spots.

The all-caps cluelessness and bulldozer intention of his rightness reminds me of our neighbor’s chihuahua attacking the other neighbor’s bulldog. Chihuahua is pissing himself in excitement. The bulldog stands stoic and statue-like till the Chihuahua’s chest quits colliding with his upper leg.

Touchy feelie, or just touchy?

A bit of a twist on it is that since Hubbard’s science fiction came from his own mind you might say that using it in his scientology theories came from his own mind in the first place.

There is no shortage of theories of existence coming from the minds of men. The only way to get around it is by saying it came from God. I’ll figure it all out later. 🤔 It might come from epiphanies or drugs and so on. Lol

Short summary of the story, not exactly correct but good enough.

In the far future a “Messiah” from another planet named George Smiley is convincing everyone that the material universe is just an illusion. “Shellback”, the stubborn good guy in the story refuses to agree. Another reviewer wrote, “What happens when the most evil cult leader in the Universe meets up with the most stubborn man in the Universe?”
