This is honestly one of the most absurd things I have ever read about Scientology harassment ahappens. I Watched the episode if the Aftermath where you talk about the situation. The audio of that whole situation is wild. The thought that Scientology tries to pull this off as you injuring your ex wife is insane. I mean you can practically debunk the whole situation that they created with that audio and the reports. On a slight side note I can’t imagine what Christie’s reaction must have been when this happened like what the hell is going on? The fact that your ex wife and daughter yelled at her calling her such horrible names for what? Thinking about the lengths that Scientology and scientologists will go to be a menace to people is honestly slightly terrifying.

I find it strange that they say that they disconnected from you yet they are the ones who don’t communicate with you they are the ones who cut you off when you try to reach out you are the one who’s been trying to get back in connection with them you’ve been doing this for years. Also the fact that they literally harassed you and Christie in the parking lot of the doctor’s office is a lot and just proves that Scientology has their policies. And I listen to the audio recording that was taken from John Sweeney of that incident. To say it was insane is an understatement nothing that they say adds up to the phone call or any evidence that you have.

what a huge painful unnecessary incident with the gang of senior Scientologists and family of Mike’s meeting with him in the parking lot.

That is a bizarre bit of “fair game” tactics that is so painful to listen to.

They scream obscenities at Mike to start off, and it is just bizarre.

One of the worst incidents of fair gaming I’ve ever listened to.

Those people will never apologize nor recognize how off their behavior was, but it would be good to see if someday, one or another of them do recant and see their actions in correct perspective.

The private eyes present, what kind of people are they? They alone I would think would find that incident one of the worst they’ve ever been hired to participate in.

The irony of Mike’s family saying that HE disconnected from THEM is hilarious – and tragic. It reveals in plain detail how far from reality those within this cult’s confines really are. There’s no reasoning with them.
Mike, you showed far more restraint than most ever could have. In a way, the LRH ‘technologies’ prepared you to deal with these cultish robots once you’d escaped their clutches!
Such irony….

The tragedy preceded by era of chaos and confusion, Age of Paranoia to be followed by Age of Extinction. This is the product cycle of Cults, unless they adopt themselves to popular culture like making Harry Porter series as part of of their teachings or move to new avenues like poultry or dairy farming.

Mike, You are forever a hero for your composure throughout the bizarre siege. It is right up there with a band of 2 year-olds having a “group think” tantrum in a public space. Seems poetic that this is so easily available on the internet. If South Park satirized a scene like this, one might say, “Naw, come on the writing team has gone too far.” Except this is not fiction. It really happened and it was recorded by John Sweeney in all its bizarre glory.

As a Former-In, I can’t help but suffer a smidgen of heartbreak over the fact that, while in, you have NO IDEA how un-hinged are some members of the scientology “executive strata.” It’s unbelievable. If only these individuals could enjoy the benefits of a modern science to address mental health. Oh I am so sad writing these words. My heart is officially broken. It’s like a needle in a groove, and that groove has nothing to do with helping anyone or “clearing the planet.”

I’ve read your original, most important post and many of the comments. I’m so glad you’re out of Scientology. Your blogs (and I have yet to read them all), are good therapy for a recovering scientologist. I can’t stress enough the importance for ex-scientologists to share their stories as well as their post-scientology “wins” and “success stories.”

I had been out of Scientology for six months at the time of your original blog. Early on, I wanted to speak out against scientology but hadn’t found the strength to do so under my own name. So, I decided that I needed to hide behind a real “macho” person, someone with more testosterone than 1,000 men: Jenny Linson.

Because of her hair-raising, ball-busting, potty-mouthed antics with Marty Rathbun at LAX, I became “JennyAtLAX.” I started writing satire in homage to Saint Jenny, and scientology in general. Tony Ortega somehow allowed me a soapbox from which JennyAtLAX spewed.

I had my way with that wild woman, too. At The Underground Bunker, I’d make statements against active Scientologists in Good Standing and only used, word-for-word, what Jenny Linson has said in public. I used her words (especially the swear words) exactly as found online in transcripts of interviews, court documents, etc.

This all changed in March 2015, with the release of the HBO documentary, “Going Clear.” Soon, I started a blog and eventually shed the JennyAtLAX persona. Yes, I used that same soapbox, but under my own name.

You, Tony, Karen and others gave me the strength to be myself, to speak out against scientology. This is an important part of shedding the scientology skin, of peeling that stinking onion.

The obsessive attack of enemies was a hubbard psychosis. In doing so, scn dug its own grave. It would take a couple of decades of good PR backed up by real and useful community activities to improve the reputation they have made up for themselves at least a little. But their policies won’t allow it.
No matter what golden age they bring out, it will always be useless.
For years they have begun a decisive transformation towards the accumulation of money and the safeguarding of those inside. This turns them into a full-fledged sect / cult.
There are no ‘policies’ that can get them out of there.

I do not think this is the right thing to do BUT, one day it is going to happen. They are gong to descend on someone (the wrong someone) and that person is going to be armed and will snap. It will not be pretty. They will have “pulled it in” and will simply have to live with it in their next meat body.

Plain and simple, someone is going to blow someone else’s head off. Or multiple someone elses.
