@Kyle Your support means a lot. I, too, watched the entire “Aftermath” series a second time. There is a lot to catch and understand. The first time through, I was simply too shocked. Like you, second time through, picked up more things. The people, stories, and information throughout the three seasons are an unpacking of knowing and understanding what is going on. Hard to imagine these stories are representative, they are not isolated. For each person who appears on the show, there are many more who we do not know their exact situation, but we can extrapolate is as painful, extreme, and unnecessary as the individuals featured.

One of L. Ron Hubbard’s credos is “The criminal always accuses others of what he himself is doing.” I think especially for Scientologists still in, they would be shocked learning what goes on and what is, frankly, common for many Sea Org members. The Church otherwise is continuously publicizing how much they are a champion for human rights.

I can offer, as a Previously-In, I have been greatly shocked and heartbroken. Wishing these folks the best who are escaping and getting out.

I have no connection to Scienctology, but because of the series I think I can understand how a person and families are pulled in! I wish I could help , I wish I could reach out my hand to some of these poor souls and say, it’s ok, life does not have to be the way Scienctology has made you believe. Going to now go over to sign the Tax Exempt petition immediately! Wish there was more I could do to help…..
