I recently lost my girlfriend to Sea Org.
After spending a couple of weeks researching this evil cult I donated 800$ to The Aftermath Foundation.

If it doesn't help her to escape then I hope it will help someone else in need.
I only wish there was more I can do to help bring down these bastards.

Keep up the good work.

Here are some indicators which identify human trafficking that I have read about in victims testimony about their time in Scientology.

- Is not free to leave or come and go at will
- Is unpaid, paid very little, or paid only through tips
- Works excessively long and/or unusual hours
- Is not allowed breaks or suffers under unusual restrictions at work
- Owes a large debt and is unable to pay it off
- Was recruited through false promises concerning the nature and conditions of his/her work
- High security measures exist in the work and/or living locations (e.g. opaque windows, boarded up
windows, bars on windows, barbed wire, security cameras, etc.)
- Is living and working on site
- Experiences verbal or physical abuse by their supervisor
- Is not given proper safety equipment
- Is not paid directly
- Is forced to meet daily quotas
- Exhibits unusually fearful or anxious behavior after bringing up law enforcement or immigration
    officials
- Has few or no personal possessions
- Is frequently monitored
- Is not in control of their own identification documents (ID or passport)
- Is not allowed or able to speak for themselves (a third party may insist on being present and/or
    translating)
- Shares scripted, confusing, or inconsistent stories
- Protects the person who may be hurting them or minimizes abuse

Some, if not all, of these indicators can be shown to have been present in many cults of the past and present. If Law Enforcement Organizations have any common sense, they should be be able to realize that a so called religion should not have that many things in common with human trafficking organizations.

Accepted; One does not need to be respectful for me — which is another discussion completely; entirely; disparate from this idea which I posted — the essence or intent is to delve into Kat LaRue posted somewhere some clinic work which is I have found ^estremely^ relevant to devolving Hubbards penny-a-word SF with Ackerman selling it;

Vis-a-vis what 8's _claim_ they can do

I think my other post got scrubbed so they have a way to filter what gets posted though for my individual case; I am considering Mr. Rinders previous work in the arena of discussion — The mind; As Cerebral Tissue along with Synaptic Ion Channels and all of the body can and does mimic perception very effectively though what Miss Cabbage Junior has done with the organized work has blocked any access to materials I need to work with which — as an example: Compare the word Sadistic ( which I am ) to the writings in 8-80 or such where Beautiful Sadness is given as a term to work as contemplative

Keen on being correct; This computer-machine we use is ^^heavily^^ monitored by such things as OSA and similar though for me in my instant case ( instance not instantly ) I see nearly all of what is current circa mid to late 50's and into the 60-s with occasional Ultra Deep Seeing such that I can detail matters such as clothing; personna; acts and activities; of others well removed from any locality where am as a body; at the time

I can make jokes with this 7-thing and yes some do expire though it is not as-seen

Such has nothing to do with the Material which is what I call Existential

I don't think it is in the least sad or pathetic.

Goodwill is an honest, respectable . helpful organization and your working there is (was) honest work for a salary, albeit possibly a small one, as well as for a veru good cause! Working there helped you get back on your feet in the real world. Be PROUD of that, I say. Very well done, I say!

Contracts work both ways - if there was any mention of salary or pay, you can bet the Co$ will not pursue legal action since they don't hold up their end of the deal
Not to mention everything that would come up in discovery.
I think these fools learned their lesson with the Debbie Cook litigation

In reply to <a href="https://www.mikerindersblog.org/another-aftermath-foundation-success/#comment-257578">Skyler</a>.

In one of Hubbard's treatises on "ethics" called "Responsibility of Leaders", Hubbard identified Simon Bolivar and his entourage being too honorable and unwilling to resort to means such as throwing the daughters of his enemies to negro troops as the cause for Simon Bolivar dying poor.

Hubbard wanted no part of dying honorable yet poor himself so he basically told his followers through inference that he would not hold them accountable for nasty dishonorable actions taken towards his "enemies" (those who would hold him accountable for his abuse and exploitation). I hear that far from being shocked at Hubbard's priorities, Responsibility of Leaders is one of DM's favorite references.

I was lied to about the actual conditions of staff both times I was recruited for staff. The first time rendered me homeless (I actually thought I had a job where I could pay rent) and when I was pissed about them lying to me, they flipped it around and made ME out to be the jerk for being pissed about being lied to and the destruction their lies caused me. They told me that I was only pissed because I had overts and if I just wrote them up I would feel much better. Instead of them owning up to being unethical themselves, they victim blamed me because they were unethical but couldn't face it in themselves.

In retrospect this was weaponized use of confession to get away with lying to me and destroying my life which they did without blinking or a second thought. To them, that wasn't a bad thing because they acquired more free labor in the cause of saving the universe. My little life was meaningless compared to the universe.

The second time I was recruited for staff (I still believed there had to be some good in it and that the mission I had first joined was particularly crazy - which it was even by CofS standards), I sorta had the idea that they weren't always entirely honest in their recruitment promises so I took measures to protect myself. Turned out that they had lied to me so much and so profoundly (my org had been moved into a building much too big and expensive by management to prepare for the Goodwill games boom that never happened, so what little pay there was got taken and applied to back rent to avoid eviction) that my safeguards simply weren't enough so once again I found myself destitute while working my guts out "saving the universe".

I also saw SO recruit after SO recruit lied to. The recruits would be told that there was married couple berthing but when they arrived all such berthing was full or being renovated so they slept on a matress in a hall or something. I took to taking new recruits aside and making sure that they knew what they were getting into, until after a while I started thinking, "I shouldn't have to be doing this". At first I had thought that all of the crazy stuff I had seen were isolated incidents but after a while it became "clear" that it was a long standing pattern of deception and nastiness. A lot of it they get away with internally through the use of weaponized confession against their victim to avoid taking responsibility for their lies and exploitation, as I mentioned earlier.

Hubbard's "ethics" system is really a corruption system wherein almost any horrible thing is justified as the "greater good". It is a greater good to force one's friends and teammates to terminate their pregnancies in order to secure more free labor for DM without having to spend on childcare than it is to allow the universe to be destroyed. It is a greater good to threaten the family of a reluctant volunteer in order to force them to work against their will for free in the service of saving the universe than it is to allow the universe to be destroyed for lack of free labor.

So yeah you are right, they lie and do all sorts of nasty stuff without blinking or thinking twice and will even pronounce themselves to be "highly ethical" because they have justified their crimes to themselves so well and they know that they won't be held accountable for them.

I am so glad you're OUT and even gladder that AF was able to help you. Thank you for sharing the details here. The lies...wow, the LIES, the whoppers you were told, to get you to sign up...wow.

Yo, OSA -
Eat your hearts out, Cult Creeps monitoring this blog!
Aftermath Foundations' stats are UP!
Pity you can't say the same, eh?

Starting March 1st I'm signing up to donate to The Aftermath Foundation.
It won't be a huge sum at all but it will be something each month.
In Scientologese, I want to "contribute to this motion".

Go Mike, Go Leah, Go Aftermath Foundation!
You ROCK!
