Scientologists have been trained to evaluate people in very simple, kindergarten-style, hero/villain, black/white, good/bad, safe/dangerous terms.

There are no nuances. Its identity-think all the way, and the photographs of people the cult publishes bears this out.

To know whether Scientology approves of a person, just look at the photo and that will tell you all you need to know, if its been issued by Scientology management.

Good person =attractive, happy, smiling, clean, well groomed, prosperous looking person.

Bad person = unattractive, unhappy, scowling/ fearful looking, dirty, disheveled, disreputable-looking, criminal-looking person.

Its simplicity itself.

In reply to clearlypissedoff. I have learned that I no longer react when people criticize Scientology. I was never this way when I believed the church was helping me in some way. There is so much evidence of the Church of Scientology's crimes that it undoes any good and progress they might make in the world. "You can't be a drug addict and a healthy person at the same time". The same is true of this church. A criminal organization cannot at the same time have real employment opportunities to offer people. :)
