After a three century cooling period from 1500 to 1800 earth began warming and earth temperature has risen 1.5 to 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit with a slight rate of increase over the last 70 years. During the same time period earth population rose from 1 billion in 1800 to 8 billion today so apparently warmer temperature is conducive to human population growth. With any luck the temperature will go up another degree in the next 80 years and the population will increase to 9 or 10 billion by 2100. All is well.

The dinosaurs did quite well when the global carbon dioxide levels were in the 2,000 parts per million range and temperatures were much warmer. Humans are smart and know how to build air conditioners.
