There are legal remedies to address the cult’s behavior, but no one is willing to bring those arguments to the court.

A few have tried and failed for reasons I won’t mention. It can be done.

I kind of feel like my comment got lost in all of the hullabaloo above. I’m hoping you read and took my comment as the heartfelt statement that it was intended to be.

Krystal? When people leave Scientology, they often find themselves with several serious problems.

Many of them have never gotten any education except the education provided by the cult and that education is about the cult and it is usually has nothing to do with job skills or how to find a job.

Most of the people who leave the cult are cut off from all their friends and family because of the cult’s policy of “disconnection”. Their friends and family are no longer permitted to communicate with them in any way and they are not permitted to help them in any way.

Most of these people do not possess even the basic skills required to find a job and a place to live. They know nothing about bank accounts or libraries or how to get help in this modern society.

Just imagine what you would do if you found yourself all alone in a big city with zero job skills, zero money, no place to live, no friends or family. The list goes on and on. So many of these people find themselves in desperate straights.

I have a lot more to say about this. But I think it would be best for you to contact The Aftermath Foundation (TAF) and speak with them directly. If anyone can help you with your goal of achieving the revocation of the Tax Exempt Status, IMO, TAF is the best place for you to start.

There is a wonderful organization called, “The Aftermath Foundation”. It is dedicated to helping people who have recently left scientology or who are contemplating leaving this evil cult.

I suggest the best way for you to get started is to contact them and ask them to help you in your goal. Their web site is: theaftermathfoundation.org

If anyone can help you, these people are very likely the best way for you to find out how to go about achieving this goal. If you find a good way to go about the revocation of their Tax Exempt Status, please come back and let us know. I would imagine that many people here would also like to participate in the revocation of their Tax Exempt Status.

To believe that an ark carried two of every animal and a woman gave birth without ever having sex is pretty silly.

Leave politics out of it Mike. It has no bearing on what you are trying to accomplish. You will also turn off half the country who do not share your same political views.

Unfortunately, petitions don’t help at all. What makes the most impact is contacting your government officials, the IRS, speaking out and making others aware, etc.

There are several other ways to help but I’m in a rush to get to work…lol… sorry.
