PTS to each other is as meaningless as SP declares. I have no Illusions about any of them having any kind of dialogue much less a meaningful one. The whole subject seems to have devolved Into a real life theatre of the absurd.

If they are “PTS” to each other, what does that mean in English? I’m intrigued. But whatever it means I don’t think that father and son talk is going to happen. The son is, to put it in clinical terms, “nuts” and I think the dad knows it.

Like you, I love the way this blog allow to express all possible angles and viewpoints about the subject called Scientology and LRH. Quite sometime ago, I was Dead-filed at a PRO-LRH blog bacause my revolucionary ideas threatened their convenient status quo as I wasn’t “going with the flow” , but was publicly and noisely expressing my discontents with many vital and urgent issues. So I have a firm reality on how it feels to be censured and suppressed at the Freedom of Speech right.

For quite some time, I got to confess, that I thought that Mike was full of shit. “How dare him allow all this crazy bitterly hurt apostates say any fucking thing they want to say about Scn and LRH ?” , was my usual idea about his blog. “These people are just a bunch of lunatics” , was another idea I held on to. I was blind as a bat, and still heavily under the spell of a VERY clever and insidious leadership (LRH). “Why are they so bent on destroying LRH’s image, and invalidating the Tech ?” , was a question that I usually answered with, “They are just full of Missed Withholds and probably are just failed cases”. I had been cleverly indoctrinated into that way of thinking for decades! It blocked correct inspection.

At the end Mike turned out to be the individual with the most tolerance for multiple viewpoints that I have ever met. He allowed FREE communication to occur on the subject , and I had never been used to that kind of freedom. I have a very long list of great individuals that have influenced me in more ways that I can possibly realize.

Hi Thegman77, I’m not sure how this blogging thing works, but if you come back here this is what I’m thinking.

“why the hell not keep using it” It would seem that by “using IT” then the IT is really not part of “me”. If a realization is permanent it wouldn’t have to be consciously “used”.

Scn promotes wins as precious (success stories) but most of them (some people say all of them) are ephemeral. Just my think on it.

It’s a Catch 22 – Dave’s PTS to his dad and vice versa. I think it’s time for a good old father to son talk.

I think that Mike would write a very interesting forward to Ron Sr’s book.

Again, it’s gonna get very hot in the kitchen when that book comes out.

I know from a friend that Ron did not want to and wasn’t planning to write anything about little Dave at the beginning. Just his experience with Scn. Through my friend, I encouraged him to write about his experience and thoughts about his son. I don’t think he really, honestly wanted to do that until he heard the “Let him die” story. I can’t say that part for sure, but, in the beginning, that wasn’t what the book was supposed to be about.

I for one am very happy to have found a tribe where I can express my bitterness, my broken heart and my love for our friends, here on Mike’s blog. We all need a place to be able to speak what we are going through, when we need to speak it.

Whether people are still in, out, rabidly against or are what you call “KSW Indies” of Scientology, it’s still theraputic to hear what everyone has to say. Even, and especially those under the radar or on the fence need to hear all views.

Whether we influence people to change or not, every word plants a seed – we just don’t know what will grow from that seed.
