IMO, RB isn’t quite “comic”, but a sideways look at a “funny” set of circumstances existing in a wacky, abusive cult. I’m not sure whether it’s sarcasm or irony oozing out of the chinks of scn’s armor in RB’s weekly dose of cleansing light. Seems RB should have a disclaimer that the characters are not real people, or however it goes on TV.

No need for that when the spouses snitch on each other and when sec checks uncover that individuals are having that internal “conversation”. IMO, UTRs are not “current members. They’re mostly out the door and trying not to be noticed as not entirely “with it”.

Robert, US law enforcement agencies are basically lazy and criminal. I’ve called police while someone was being kidnapped at gun point and was told I could talk to a detective later in the day. Of course they found the body dumped in an alley the next day.

If you want to get the attention of them just announce that you are investigating X agency and you’ll have them swarming you in 2 seconds…

Anyone new bodies from the U.S. wanting to join are probably damaged goods.

If there is no dramatic collapse, time and exposure will bring inevitable dissolution from attrition.

Considering NOI and lawsuits, my money is on dramatic implosion.
