I picked it up yesterday on Thurs. I don’t think the church harassed Michelle for being gay. I think they didn’t want the bad PR if she lost the lawsuit that was brought against her and her partner for financial fraud and clients who were out millions of dollars because of them. I think THAT is why the church declared her. After all, they don’t kick John Travolta out for being gay or bi, and I even knew a parishoner who was OT who was gay, openly gay and they didn’t deny him his OT levels. She settled on the lawsuit.
