"it is a weakness in the orgs that the public need to do the work the orgs should be doing." Exactly Widow Denk. I had this same thought years ago and then thought-stopped it becauseI I knew the trouble I'd get into if I voiced it. I do agree also that the OTC's are also put there to control the OT's and keep them so busy and beholdin' about how they must work hard to "flow power" since they aren't on SO staff. That button is pushed hard and often. And if the OT's weren't active on OTC's, they might just get interested in their own lives and activities and drift away from the org and out of range for regging.

Right WidowDenk. The concept that thetans or OTs can be forced to do things that they don't want to, is so contrary to the nature of beings. I think once the SO went from a cooperative group, following LRH out of respect, to, do what you're told or else, the group's demise was sealed. Then there's the computation "if you don't work till you drop, then you're a lazy out ethics asshole" that plays into it also. When respect left the game, it was no longer real Scn IMO.

Yes, Smokey - I agree about the control factor. Must keep these public OT's under control and supporting their orgs. Seems pretty backward to me.

Interesting, John Doe. I believe I once subscribed to that learned culture. Maybe not to the extent of "the most important thing in the universe." See, you got me thinking about it.

I, nevertheless, feel these enforcement type groups of public are relatively useless if the orgs are not established for production.
