They want to make Winnipeg an Ideal Org?! They bought a large building in 2008, but it going to cost over $7,500,000 just to bring the building up to code, and then there's all the fancy Ideal Org dressing and do-dads to pay for.

Meanwhile, there's maybe 20-40 Scientologists in the area.

Talk about a disconnect from reality! A rational plan would have been to expand from the current office to a store front, dress it up nice, and then concentrate on delivering services. When that place is busy and full, then look for a bigger building. (Who's going to be attracted to a place that always looks empty because staff and public are rattling around in it like a small marble in a very large can?)

I have enjoyed reading this blog since its inception. There are a lot of things I like about it. But today, I'm going to single out this phrase:

It's so true, and as an outpoint, it is very rejectable and extremely funny.

Great article as usual Mike. I would evaluate this alliance business as good news because a a previous poster just stated the logical reason for such alliances is lack of public.

Now, I will bet that the Dwarf spins this as "islands of succor" which are expanding and beginning to touch one another - that LRH reference, I forget the name of it.

Never mind that there are no people in these orgs - expansion is occurring, and if anyone doesn'tagree that it is, then then there's something wrong with that person, must be overts, whisper, whisper.

Reminds me of that old joke about the wife who catches her husband right in the act in bed with another woman and yet he still denies it, saying, "Are you going to believe me, or your own eyes?"

I have friends still in the church, I mean intelegent human brings. How can they put up with this crap? Mind blowing.

It does blow ones' mind, doesn't it? I was never a proverbial Kool-Aid drinker when I was still behind the razor wire. I was one of those whose ARC began to slowly falter, which resulted in my circling the orgs in an increasingly wider orbit. I simply had my reality broken so many times, and was disappointed so often by the vias, stops, and seemingly impenetrable barriers to simply getting on with it, that I just slowly moved further and further away from the center.

In those days, I had no earthly idea that there was any such thing as standard tech delivery outside the realm of the official church. Had I known just that, I think I would have flown the coop in a flash. Believing that the church had an ironclad monopoly on the tech was the only thing keeping me somewhat tethered to it. I had all but given up on trying to fight my way past the church to get to the Bridge.

But I had good friends who somehow seemed to be able to wend their way through the labyrinth. They seemed to making progress, if their accumulating certs were any indication. It just made me feel stupid and uncausative, watching them do things that seemed impossible for me.

Well....those conclusions and awful feelings have all gone bye-bye now. I finally know what they were really doing, and it had nothing to do with making honest gains on LRH's route - but everything to do with compromising their personal honor, integrity, and reality, to play the game of google-eyed fanatic.

I know people who I formerly admired, who still play that game. Some of them have even been exposed to the truth that would break their shackles, if they'd only confront it. In time, they will. Whether they have the courage to, or not.

Dang, the Clubbed Seals are starting to remind me of a cargo cult. "There used to be buildings brimming with students and auditors. Therefore, if we build these nice buildings, they will brim with students and auditors."

In the case of cargo cults, it was simply indigenous people who did not know how technology worked. Airplanes looked like magic. In the case of the Clubbed Seals, it is willfully ignorant people who utterly refuse to look at wtf is happening around them. The Clubbed Seals have no excuse.

Note that I'm not saying Mr. David Miscavige has a cargo cult mentality - no, Little Hitler is fully aware of his own criminal conduct. It's the people upon whom he is perpetrating his criminal acts.

They missed doing obnosis drills. The thing is that they are PTS and afraid to look. I think it is kind of hard on them when they have spend hundreds of thousands to get up the "bridge" and been talked into donating more to special projects. That makes it hard to cut your losses. They feel that they can't get a refund (untrue) and have mortgaged their house to the hilt. Remember, they were so thoroughly indoctrinated into believing that inside the church was the only route to eternal spiritual freedom. They just can't give up now.
