They are hand-picking “actors” who look healthy, unstressed who can afford nice clothes. It’s not an ad in the org mag, but a specific letter to Gus.

Leave it to scn to wait until the last minute and create Hill 10’s out of a simple task. Everyone’s too busy trying to sell something, than secure 30 actors for a non income producing project. But wait…they can all be regged after the shoot!

Actors? Wait, I thought there were all of these dead Scientologists who were going to hop into new bodies that would be showing up ready for course?! There is a lot of attrition in Scientology due to dropping the body, so there should be hordes of the dead wading into the LA org. What happened or is this simply another ‘belief not proven through evidence’ scenario? (x.x)

In that case, just don’t show up until 2:45 PM. You’ll not be a “stat” for a week, then. THAT’ll confuse them, making them conjure up all sorts of false “whys” and frantic “fixes”. That’ll serve to keep them distracted from their actual situations, probably making them less depressed.
