Thank you very much for telling your story. I was put on the PAC RPF in late ’82 and got off when there was an amnesty in ’83. I met so many wonderful Int Management Executives there and they all were such a delight to work with. Real Laplane, Guy White, Mike Titmas, Mike Rubio, Karen Jentz, ED Ints wife Vanilla?
During this time I was living with an abusive husband so being on the RPF was a relief for me plus I was pregnant plus late June ’83 I’d learned my father was dying and told me he had only 3 months to live which was exactly when my child was due. It was a very turbulent time for me in many ways but having some of the fellow staff members there was like being with just friends ~ you guys actually believed me when I said I was being abused. For 2 years (at AOLA) I’d been being treated like I was making it up (Gaslighting).
So yes, although it seems the worst injustices were happening at the top you guys were better equipped to handle it some how. Your confront of evil was more? I know that confront of evil supposedly takes the highest confront but if that’s so how come no one could stand up to the evil in LRH or COB and on an on and instead let it fester around for the rest of the staff and parishioners? It doesn’t seem fair.
I was kicked off staff in June ’96 … it’s taken all these years to even begin to get my memory back from 77-96 and it’s still badly out of order. This all helps bunches. I hope you and your family get all back together soon 🙂

My “like” button isn’t working so I had to leave a comment.  I am so proud of how you (& others, ie., Leah Remini) are standing up to that damn cult! Many who are not involved or haven’t any knowledge of this crazy business might  (probably) view supporters like me as “too interested” or see it as a waste of time. However, I have, since the 70’s, been disgusted by cults & what they do to good people. ..FAMILIES …for a long time. Because they hurt people…abuse people. It’s frustrating to see them get away with so much BS. When it’s abuse, of people, families & finances/MONEY (while “the people” work hard just to make it & pay taxes) by other entities…like poor countries &/or any kind of “leaders” etc., it is fought against; Yet this so-called religion has continued to get away with atrocities…ugly wicked atrocities,  & for such a long time.
I will continue to keep you (& all who try to put a stop to this) In my prayers.
You guys have already succeeded with GREAT accomplishments!  If nothing more (although I believe & pray there’ll be more) was done AT THIS TIME or on this go round…you can walk away knowing you HAVE accomplished much; bcuz even “if” you didn’t save the world from this “cancer”…you have to know it meant the world to one. Like the “Starfish Story”.

I feel for what ya went through Lois! I too went through the exact same injustice … only a couple years ago. The current IJC, like past ones, seem to be uncaring unthinking robots simply carrying out orders. Even if they put out an amnesty, I’d never get close to their suppressive trap again. And yeah, I was born into it too and I worked for it from about the same age as you did. Amazing though to see the same patterns being repeated by the sociopath on top – David Miscavige and his unthinking robots in HCO and OSA. I somewhat pity his underlings, wasting their lives, living under heightened stress 24/7. I’m thankful that I got out.

Your stories are amazing. Please include all these points in a book.

I recommend using LRH’s OEC and the Red Volumes, for jogging memory as to why things were written in those issues.

There is just countless unnamed people who are not referred to by name in policy and tech issues, and it would be so interesting to hear from the people who know WHAT LRH was talking about, since he was talking about people on his lines and their handlings.

You have some of the best stories, Janis, I hope you get them down somehow for history.

The first person to do the running program was me. Based reports from Vicki and DM to LRH that I was disaffected. I was extremely vocal about the lack of qualifications of the new execs DM was shipping into Int to support his take over. David Mayo had his wife Merril put me on an auditing program to undisaffect me. After completing the program of hours and hours of sec checking, David said I was no longer disaffected but could not guarantee I wouldn’t be disaffected in the future. LRH’s response to this was to have me report back to David Mayo who was to have me get out and run. After I ran for a couple weeks up and down the highway or around the property, LRH changed the program was changed to run around a tree, then a pole.
